A truly smart hands-free desk lamp works with Alexa
I was worried that this would not be a truly smart lamp when I ordered it. I am pleasantly surprised to say that it is a truly smart device in and of itself without any other attachments such as a smart outlet. This lamp needs no smart outlet or other accessory to function as a smart lamp other than your Alexa device or other controller. I absolutely love how it can be dimmed with my voice to such a low lit light that it can be used as a night light or it can be used when I'm painting my artwork. Or I can be used as a desk lamp at my computer station. It truly works hands-free with your voice and an Alexa device. The clamp on it to attach to a table is extremely strong and reliable. It has a good rubber surface on the clamp to make sure it grips very strong to whatever you want to attach it to.and the gooseneck on it can be twisted to any position that you need to do your work successfully. I extremely highly recommend this smart lamp or should we say smart desk lamp.

Challenge to program. Not so smart
I like the lamp, but I have not been able to program it and need to replace it.

Alexa works & clear light
Works well & not too bright so it shines in eyes as you read in bed.

Doesn’t connect to app
It is not able to connect to the app so you can only plug it in and have it turn on one setting
