Tenba Classic P211 Slim Courier Camera Bag (638-604)

This bag is very nicely made with quality materials. My complaint is that it's bigger than it looks. It's significantly bigger than the original Tenba P211 that I had in the 1980s. It's significantly bigger than the Domke 803 series satchels I think it competes with. The P211 easily accommodates an Oly Pen F sized body, five prime lenses, two medium sized flashes, the tiny Oly clip on flash, a Fujifilm Instax camera, spare batteries, SD cards, pens, notebook, and an iPad. The layout is different but it has a lot more usable space than a ThinkTank Retrospective 5. I was looking for something smaller - more Domke 803 sized - so I gave it three stars. But it is very well made, very adaptable to multiple uses (the bag can be converted to use as a computer bag with lots of room for external hard drives and cables).

i got this to carry my nikon 1 and Sigma Merrell DP 1 and DP2. The bag is not to wide as many other bags. Also flaps on the outside of the top flap on the front under the flap have good storage Flaps and internal storage does not fold out so you can not overstuff them. Back flap does hold a tablet but does not have much padding. Bottom pockets will hold gear or mirrorless lenses. The only issue is the color of the bag its only available in black. I really like this bag. I have been checking out messenger bags for a long time now ad think this is the best design.

This is a great bag I like that it's not too bulky as some others can be. I like the pocket at the bottom as well as the pocket in the flap. Allows you to store small things like your phone, lens pen, lens wipes, etc without having to open the flap up. The bottom pocket is a decent size. You can fit two kit lenses in it but nothing bigger its tight. It's bcome my everyday bag.

I own a couple of Tenba bags, got the P211 on a closeout from a local retailer. The bag is nice, but the zipper pull on the bottom zipper broke in half the first time I tried to use it. Not a big deal, but not something I'd expect from a Tenba product. I cut off the remainder of the zipper pull and replaced it with a Tenba soft zipper pull as I had a package of those lying around.

This briefcase/shoulder bag is extremely well made. I bought this one as a gift. I am still using my original Tenba Classic I bought around 30 years ago. It has gone to work with me everyday and been on numerous travels. I have not been gentle with it and it still looks great. It is one bag that is hard to hurt. Highly recommended.

Gutes Format. Solides Material. In der flachen Aussentasche auch ipad oder din a 5 block unterzubringen. Nach ca. 40,Einsatztagen ist jetzt ein „anfasser“ vom reissverschluss abgebochen. Ich denke dass ist ein systematischer konstruktionsmangel. Ich werde das reklamieren.

35年使っていて３代目ですが、オリジナルテンバに比べエツミ製はきゃしゃになった感じがする。肩掛けベルトも薄くなっている。中仕切り等の機能面は充実しているだけに残念です。コスト上がってもオリジナル素材を使ってほしい。

Bei Tenba-Taschen bin ich seit mittlerweile 30 Jahren markentreu, denn diesen sehr strapazierfähigen und äusserst diskrete Fototaschen ist kein imaginärer "Klau-mich-Stempel" aufgedruckt. Sie sind nicht sofort als teure Gadget-Transporter erkennbar.Ich hatte bereits das Original der P415 Anfang des Jahrtausends gekauft und war schon damals sehr von der Funktionalität und der Robustheit dieses Modells überzeugt. Im Laufe der Jahre und bei professionellem Einsatz sind nur die beiden Druckknöpfe am Handgriff und an der Rückseite kaputt gegangen.Besonders vorteilhaft war immer die Möglichkeit, die Tasche schnell der jeweils benötigten Ausrüstung anzupassen: Das Inlay ist bequem herausnehmbar und das Volumen mittels rundum laufendem Reissverschluss einfach zu verdoppeln. Die alte P415 war von der Größe her sogar in der Lage, ein 17-Zoll-Laptop aufzunehmen.Nach über 16 Jahren Nutzung der Originaltasche hatte ich erfreut gesehen, dass Tenba diese Serie neu aufgelegt hat und bei einem Angebotspreis von unter 80.-€ habe ich bedenkenlos zugeschlagen. Normalerweise liegt die Tasche beim doppelten Preis, aber auch dieser ist verglichen mit Taschen anderer Hersteller durchaus gerechtfertigt.Die neue P415 ist etwas kleiner als das Original ausgefallen, es passt nur noch ein 15-Zoll-Macbook-Pro von Apple hinein. Da Apple seit geraumer Zeit aber keine 17-Zöller mehr anbietet, ist das aber auch zeitgemäß. Interessanterweise passt das Inlay der alten Tenba-Tasche dennochin das neue Modell.Ich habe bei erweitertem Volumen die Tenba Classic P415 testweise mit folgender Ausrüstung gepackt:1 x Vollformat-DSLR inklusive Hochformat-Handgriff1 x 2,8/70-200 mm Objektiv1 x 2,8/24-70 mm Objektiv1 x 2,8/16-35 mm Objektiv1 x Extender1 x 2,8/40 mm Pancake2 x Blitzgerätund diverses Kleinzeugs wie Filter, Fernauslöser, Taschenlampe, Speicherkarten...Alles lässt sich ergonomisch packen und die Tasche ist dennoch bequem zu tragen.Parallel zur P415 habe ich auch eine große Messenger-Tasche von Tenby im Einsatz gehabt. Die Verarbeitung der Tasche und die Wertigkeit der P415 ist deutlich besser verglichen zur Messenger-Tasche.Einige Schwachpunkte des Ur-Modells der P415 wie die laut und schwergängig zuschnappenden Klick-Verschlüsse und der Druckknopf am Griff wurden bei der Neuauflage dieses Modells verbessert. Auch der Tragegurt der neuen P415 ist deutlich breiter, rutschfester und damit besser geworden!Auch wenn einige Features von moderneren Kamerataschen-Design wie der spontane Zugriff bei geschlossener Tasche oder ein Rain-Cover fehlen, ich kann diese Tasche uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
