I am shocked at some of the reviewers take on this chandelier swag lamp. It is large and beautiful. If you want a different look you can change the Crystals to a different color. Mine is bigger than I thought it would be because of the other reviews. Some people said they were putting it in a nursery so I pictured a much smaller lamp. It's big and very beautiful, I put in a 40 watt light bulb and it's bright enough that I will be able to read with it on. I put it up next to my side of out bed and I might order another one for my husband's side. That would make a lot of room on our night stands without a lamp to take up all of the space. Thank you Amazon for stocking such a wonderful lamp. It can be used in any room in our house and I can change the look with the addition of another color of Crystal. I forgot to say that the large Crystals are made of glass and the look is stunning... The only thing that I would change would be to add a on / off switch to the cord, It is a royal pain to have to plug and unplug the lamp whenever I use my lamp !!! It probably wouldn't be too hard to change the cord but it would be an added expense and a major pain in the rear for someone like me with no electric no how. Just a thought !!!

Having bought more than a few light fixtures in my life, I was really surprised that this came fully assembled, right out of the box-no stringing crystals or assembling any parts or pieces required. Just plug it in and turn it on. We hardwired it into the ceiling, but if you want to plug it into an existing outlet and hang it from a hook, you can do it about a minute after taking it out of the box. There is plenty of cord and chain length to work with. We are very happy with this purchase!!

These lamps/chandeliers are really gorgeous. All the crystal strands come already attached, all individually plastic wrapped, but easy to cut off plastic after hanging. The box comes with the hardware and cover plate if you plan to install or use as a swag lamp, as I did. My box came with no instructions, however it's very standard knowledge. Take out of box, hang from ceiling, remove plastic, screw in bulbs, plug in....let there be light!The one thing that I feel should have come with instructions is the hard wire that hangs from the light fixture. If you are hardwired installing this (light switch fixture) you need this wire. If you are hanging this with a screw hooks, as I did, then you may cut this off (before you plug it in)Also, they are slightly off level. They required a little finessing to make it look right.Other than that, these really upgraded my room from out dated side table lamps, to making it look more open and clean, love 'em!

This is beautiful and a great price. But just a suggestion...just plug in and use. It was super hard to hard wire it. Also be careful either way with the hoops that hold the crystals together. They are super sensitive and pull apart. I had to replace some with basic hooks because they pulled apart. Other than that it really does look beautiful!

My teen daughter needed a little extra light over the vanity in the corner of her bedroom. This is the perfect thing! It doesn't give a lot of light, but she loves it! Adds a bit of bling to the corner of the room while giving just the amount of light. Only issue would be the lack of a switch. We did not want to hard wire the light, but rather hung it on a hook by the black chain attached. The chain drapes from the ceiling, to another hook in the corner, and runs down the wall to the outlet. To eliminate the need to unplug the light to turn it off, we purchased a remote outlet ($17 on Amazon - if you have others, they may all have the same frequency, so you will want to purchase locally to avoid that isue) and placed the switch on the side of her vanity with industrial double stick tape. Works perfectly and she loves the chain hanging down as well.

A must have for your little princess or any room needing a touch of sophistication. This chandelier does not disappoint. It's constructed well and looks much more expensive than it is. It was easy enough to install and hang like a normal chandelier. My daughter loves it! The only con would be the low light output. I just wish I had found this when I was looking for a chandelier for my bathroom.

Oh my gosh this light showed up and I was surprised at the size! For what I paid, I was expecting something much smaller. This is an absolutely WONDERFUL light! It's beautiful and we get SO many compliments! You may have to adjust the crystals which is super easy to do but otherwise, GREAT BUY!

I have been eyeing this lamp for awhile due to its ability of being a swag lamp. Absolutely gorgeous and great quality. No assembly was required for me which was even better. Had it up in my room in less than 5 minutes!

Nice light for my bedroom .....the crystals where a little dull but they are plastic not glass but otherwise nice light

Beautiful fixture. I would suggest replacing the bulb with a brighter LED bulb as it is quite dark otherwise, but it looks great in our daughters bedroom! I don't understand why this is listed under baby/nursery though??
