Urban Shop Rose Gold Overheard Floor Metallic Lamp

Really love this lamp (especially for the price), and I felt like it was fairly sturdy putting it together except for the portion of pipe that screws before you get to the base. The threading is actually crooked coming from inside that last portion of pipe so I have about half an inch of exposed threading because it couldn’t be screwed in all the way. Thankfully it’s towards the base so you can’t really see it where I placed it unless you’re looking for it, a bit disappointing but overall seems to work great and is very cute.EDIT: Let my husband put this together for me when I wrote the review. I was able to remedy the above after looking at it a minute LOL thank you, it’s seriously an awesome floor lamp.

I really like this lamp! I have been looking for something for quite a while now to light my living room (which has no ceiling lights, but does have a switch-operated outlet) that matches my home decor. However, I was hesitant to spend a lot on a lamp as I've had poor luck with floor lamps in the recent past. Did you know most of them have bases weighted with poured concrete? I didn't, until one of mine randomly cracked open and broke, pouring concrete rubble onto the floor and making my lamp fall over and break. Hence I was delighted to find this one, which is weighted with marble.So first, the good: the copper finish is really lovely, the marble base is classy and substantially hefty, and the whole thing was easy to assemble. I do not hold with the reviewers who indicated it is wobbly due to being held together by "a screw"... in fact, mine came with two set screws, and they hold the pole snugly in place. No problems there. Everything fit properly and went together in just a few minutes with the included tools. I'm still trying to get used to the cage-style "shade" (not sure if it's 100% my look, but my partner likes it), but the inner glass shade is fun and lets light through well. I'm also pleased that this works great and looks nice with my Philips Hue Colour smart bulbs. I did not realise it has a foot-stomp button to toggle the power, which is convenient. And again, I really like the marble!On the down side, I am disappointed by the size. It is much smaller than we imagined. I guess I should have paid more attention to the actual product dimensions, but the pictures made this seem like it would be bigger and hang overhead. Instead, it is shorter than me, and I'm 5'2" or so. While that's still fine if it's what you're going for, it doesn't achieve the overall room lightening we had hoped for. I wish there was a way to optionally screw in an additional 1'-2' section of pole to add more height, as the cord pulls up through the base and we have more than enough cord to accommodate it, but the all-in-one assembly would make that tricky.All in all, this does look nice, works well, and I will definitely still keep it. However, it may eventually get swapped out to a bedroom if we can find a taller lamp with this same aesthetic and marble base for our living room. I would recommend this for smaller spaces or rooms in which you're just looking for a little more directed light rather than a space-filling light source.

I thought I was getting a pair because of the picture. It is just 1 lamp. Easy to put together but the base and the bottom are a little flimsy. So, perfect if you can keep your kids away from it.

Very cute! Nice rose gold metal color and real stone base. The only thing was I felt the attachment of the pole to the base is a little flimsy--secured with pins instead of a screw. Otherwise it's a great piece!

Cute lamp. Very easy to assemble. There is literally a screw holding the pole to the base but it works.

The way the are secured to the base is ajoke, would not recommend these if you have small children around. I’m not for sure if it’s the bulbs I’m using but they put out allot of heat

I love this lamp, the color, and the style. Its a fun option for a floor lamp, we even added a smart bulb that works with our Alexa. The only thing I dont like is the bottom is screwed in it just sits in the base. So it leans forward, and if the cord isn't pulled through it could potentially tip. The base is very heavy and sturdy though, so no worries with the lamp as a whole tipping over with a kid and three dogs running around it!
