GrisiAcne Treatment, 0.7 Ounce

I've seen a lot of comments on the smell, so I will start there. The scent is of lemons. I know to most that smell is quite undesirable. But there it is, just a slight lemon smell, if any at all, I just happen to have a sensitive nose.As far as how well the product does its job. I have suffered from severe acne my whole life. I've tried tons of medicated ointments, cleansers, masks, treatments, oral medicines, you name it. I've tried it. However I still shuffle between the few that tend to clear my skin up at least for a little while. Most of those have salicylic acid because benzoyl gives my skin a horrible reaction. And I feel for most this is the same. You either use one or the other. I have never seen sulfur used in an acne ointment. Also I have noticed that Hispanic geared products are kind of the bomb. (I use tons of grisi hair products) so I thought I'd try this out seeing how I've never used sulfur and I've always had great experiences with grisi products.It has been about a week since I've started using it. I live in Texas and spring is the worst for people with acne and sensitive skin. I have to say I hate spring because of this. Not that my skin is nice to begin with but not having welts on my face is really nice too. This product has done a fantastic job on my face. There is no dryness, but I have been using a moisturizer. There is no redness, no odor, my skin does not hurt like with some products, and my skin is just so clear without any oily residue or vise versa. Personally I do recommend this product if you find yourself constantly trying new treatments. I would say if your skin is oily already, don't use a moisturizer. If your skin is dry, definitely use one. This product is not oily whatsoever but I do find that along with clearing my acne it has helped with the texture of my skin. I've added photos of my skin after using for a week. Compared to before using (I do not have a comparison photo) it is a dramatic change.

This was the 1st time I tried using this to treat my Rosacea. I've used the prescription medication, which does have cancer listed as a side-effect, so don't want to have to use this continually. I tried Prosacea, which is okay, but doesn't seem to help a lot, other than masking the redness a little. Since the sulphur soap has made the biggest difference & this is sulphur, I decided to try this. I just had a flare-up & though this hasn't cleared it up completely, it does seem to be keeping it under control so I don't wind up looking like a burn victim. It is drying, but not excessively so & does not irritate. I still moisturize my skin as usual, so that helps with the dryness. I just re-ordered for the 2nd time & ordered 2 tubes this time, since the tubes don't last very long. Hopefully, it will help get rid of it soon. So far, this is the best over the counter treatment I've found.

I have super sensitive skin and acne on top of that, so I decided to give this a try. It definitely works to dry up your zits, but it does dry out your whole face. It would make my face peel if I used it for more than a few days at a time. I found that spot treatment works better.

I LOVE this product! Yes, it smells a little perfumy and a little sulfury but it works great. The smell is not over powering (and I'm pretty sensitive to smells) and does go away. I've had acne all my life and nothing has worked as well as this product. Works better than any other over the counter acne cream that I've tried. It dries the acne but isn't drying to the skin. Would highly recommend this product!

My daughter has tried a number of acne treatments and this is the only one that has worked for her. I have only used the soap, but it works for my breakouts.

Item was received in good condition. The ointmentwas fine and did not overly smell. I had no complaints.I gave it 4 stars because it met it's advertised description.

husband had problems with adult acne on occasion, this seems to keep it in check whereas a clearasil type product just was not working for him anymore. recommend.
