Thirteen Chefs Tramanto Olive Wood Bowl 7 Inch, Hand Carved Exotic Wooden Fruit Bowl

I bought this for a friend as a house warming gift, so I can not send a photo. I can say I almost kept it for myself. I know, so selfish. It’s beautiful. He sent me a picture with a bunch of lemons in it. Perfect. If I was savvy, I could go into my email and get it to send. Okay, maybe I’m lazy. I’d have to invest a few to figure it out. Highly recommend! If natural wood is your thing, this bowl is really nice.

I know these are individual items, but the one pictured was my favorite. Instead of appearing rough edged and uneven, it's more finished than I'd hoped with each end coming up considerably from the sides making it appear like a boat since the two ends are the same height. Smaller than expected. A couple of nicks on rim showing lighter wood beneath...furniture scratch cover will remedy.

Disappointed with the size. Description said height would be between 5”-6”, I was looking for a very specific height and felt I would be safe with this based on the description. It is a beautiful bowl but only 3 1/2” inches tall which is much smaller than what I needed. This was a pricey bowl, and despite my disappointment and inability to use it as planned, it will make a nice gift for someone. I do understand that nature is not perfect and each bowl would be different, but I expected it to be within the range of size stated and it was much smaller, and pricey for the size I got; hence the 3-star rating.

This was exactly the size I expected. The beauty of the wood was surprising. I would recommend this bowl to anyone looking for a unique wood bowl.

Do yourself a favor and buy this. I thought it would be too small but it’s perfect for a room and kitchen for fruit. Perfect gift!
