Ok, I was super skeptical on buying this at first. Looking at the size and shape online I was afraid it was just gonna be a small flimsy pos and I was going to have to buy a new one anyways but hey, the kids might like it.I was pleasantly surprised with the solid build and weight.The main "Hook" is a neat little claw that actually works great, yes its a bit small but it actually grips on and is very useful (if not just fun to have and play with).To turn it into a 4 prong grapple it takes the extra piece/claw and basically grabs it with the main claw, yes its a weird/different concept but it actually holds a LOT of weight.I'm a big guy (220lbs) and I would feel safe using this to suspend from.The claw is not too small and perfect for a hiking or bugout bag. Easy to assemble and use, fun for kids and adults. And very handy. I bought another set for friends to use.If you're looking for something "Professional" or for serious rock climbing this is not your product. Go buy an expensive grapple to go with your expensive gear.This is ment for hunters, hikers, bugout bags, etc.

Love it! I planned on swinging around the neighborhood at night, but I didn’t have the stamina.Great for picking up things....I really don’t have a legitimate reason for buying these, but I’ll definitely take them with me the next time I go camping, and I always have one in the trunk of my car. Just in case.I like gadgets, and the COOL FACTOR IS FIVE STAR!!!Great quality, strong, and just all-around cool as hell to have!I LOVE EM!!!

Camping and boating

Came in a nice bag. Nice build quality. Heavier than I expected. Primarily bought for camping applications or to have on hand when the “big one” hits Cali. More to follow.

Was excited about receiving these. These are stout, easy to throw and control with the cord. I would still recommend. Giving 3 stars because the 1st day I used one to pull down dead limbs from tree and it fell apart. Pin in swivel came out within 4 throws. Used second one to finish pulling down “widow makers” from the yard and it held up fine. Very effective and strong. No noticeable damage, bending. some of the live limbs I hooked could have held my weight with a stronger Paracord. Could have many other uses than limb maintenance. Maybe 1st one was defective.

Works as described and good value. Good to have for the odd job.

These are definitely a must have for your bug out bag. These could get you out of a lot of jams and actually help retrieve things that you may have dropped.

I was impressed with the quality of the item and it functions as advertised. It makes it easy to grab my tool bag after I climb the ladder. Adds a layer of safety versus climbing a 16 foot ladder with a heavy bag. I haven’t attempted to use it as a grappling hook but it’ll come in handy when I need to add traction to a tall tree that I am attempting to cut down (as opposed to allowing the tree to fall in a random direction). No complaints based on my needs.
