I liked the simlicity of this item . it does what it says

Nice thermometer for the garden, arrived on time.Unfortunately not accurate, put it in the garden where it was so cold buckets of water (and even the moving stream to our pond) were freezing and it was telling me the temperature was +5 degrees (car thermometer said -5).

I was initially looking at digital electronic 'IN / OUT' thermometers, so that I could see the temperature both inside my summerhouse and outside in the garden.... instead I simply purchased two of these basic traditional thermometers, that of course require no batteries / cables etc. Very large and clear and easy to fit to a wall / fence.

Bought to inform of temperatures for butterfly and other conservation related surveys , this well made thermometer is pretty as well as practical.
