Some belts arrived with sharp, widthwise creases I believe due to manufacturing, not shipping. It appears the resin bonding layer may be cracked. These may be future failure points but since the belts have a cloth backing I'm hopeful they don't break there.As others reported, my belts were marked hit-or-miss with grit identifications. Thankfully they were grouped in fours by grit and at least one of the four similar belts was marked. I simply marked the other ones.Unless I missed something in the Amazon description, I noticed the black backing on mine was marked as Anti-Static polyester. That could be a good thing as we've all felt the bite of a static discharge when grinding. I haven't tested yet but I hope these belts do indeed dissipate static charges as they are being developed and not let them build up. I suspect the black color indicates carbon was used in the backing fabric.So far, my test belts fit okay. A little looser than some of my inventory but a slight adjustment of wheel spacing on my 1 x 30 unit took care of it.My main usage is household knife sharpening and small jobs in my shop. I'll consider these belts a good purchase and value if I get reasonable life and performance out of them.

They are sanding belts 1x30 different grits up to 800 grit.. I'll know when I use them .. received at 7pm Thurs. May 11, 2023. If I noticed a problem when I use them , I'll note it here 😉😎

Several creases, let’s see how the last/grind. Good price but definitely not top shelf belts. Maybe factory seconds or thirds. Fit good, track straight.

So far they have worked nicely, but they are not labeled with the number of grit you pretty much just have to fill it and take a guess. Have sharpened 8 knifes on 1 belt and it’s still going ! Just wish the were labeled with the grit size

Not really sure what to say here. All the belts were clearly marked as to their grit size. They fit my bench sander, I haven’t broken or cut any. I don’t put my knife edge into the leading edge of the belt either. My knives are sharp. If I want shaving edges I’ll finish them off with the stones but the belts alone do good enough for me. I’m happy with the purchase

Do very fine job but the belts are polished smooth fairly quickly
