Cross Stitch Mini Motifs: Vintage Paperback – Illustrated, April 1, 2015

This is a nice cross stitch pattern book with a HUGE variety of designs. There is an even mix of "mini" designs (approximately 1"h x 2"w) and small/medium designs (up to approximately 7"h x 5"w) and make great cards, miniature framed art pieces/collages, or even stitch several designs on one cloth to create a sampler. The designs are pretty easy to read, although the color coding for backstitch is so small/thin that sometimes it is impossible to decipher which color is to be used (that can be determined though by looking at a master list of DMC colors to find coordinating colors for the pattern, easily narrowing down what matches). The designs are simple enough for the beginner, being easy to read/easy & quick to stitch, and cute/chic enough for the experienced stitcher to whip up a few for a variety of applications in very little time. I recommend this book as it is a great value for the number of patterns and uniqueness of the designs.

Perfect little book of adorable designs

The designs are very funky and retro,I was able to finish off something I had been working on for a while,easy to follow and so pretty when I finished.I will be looking out for more books like this.

Cute book lovely little designs inside

Great book, although I thought it was going to be like 1940-50's style vintage. It's much earlier than that. Nice designs though and some are quite big.
