These are helping with my old knee injury
I'm 50 years old. In the last 5 years I have moved to doing mostly body weight exercise, but recently have included some weights back into my routine. I do pistol squats on a regular bases while holding kettle bells to add weight. I had an injury of my left knee back in high school and I have been getting pain in that knee after doing weighted pistols lately. I did some research and decided on these support straps based on the price and the reviews. I received them quickly and I feel the quality is good. They are easy to apply and adjust. I did my leg workout as normal and had no knee pain in either of my knees. So far I really like this product. I will check in in the future to see if I have any issues as far as durability.[1-Aug-2019 Update] No issues with the quality of this product. I am still using them several times per week. It is helping reduce my knee pain after leg workouts (although I still have some knee pain which I expect due to past injury and the fact that I am 50 years old). I would still recommend this product to anyone.[15-Nov-2019 Update] While I do still get some mild knee pain shortly after my leg workouts, it is definitely much less pain than prior to using these knee wraps during my workouts. The wraps are definitely helping, but at 50 I can't expect not to have more aches and pains.[21-Feb-2020] My knee pain has diminished as I continue to wrap my knees when doing leg work, which is a very pleasant surprise. I did pistol squats and weighted lunges 2 days ago and had only a slight amount of discomfort in my left knee for about 2 hours after.[16-Apr-2020] In the last 2 weeks I have completed 4 leg workouts including weighted pistol squats and weighted lunges (with other calf and hamstring related exercise) and have experienced no knee pain. The wraps are still in good shape. Needless to say, I am VERY pleased with this product.[10-Aug-2020] The straps are still in great shape and still little to no knee pain. Now I need to find something like this for my right shoulder. 😊

Great support but a little short
Cons: A little short for thicker legsPros: Great support, spring effect on presses and squats, easy to put onI am 6'0" tall and have fairly thick legs and this goes from just below my knee cap to just above it. When I look at the reference pictures he has it about halfway up his calf to a few inches over the knee. I might be able to come close to that if I did a really loose wrap, but then I would be worried about not getting the proper support. Even with this, it still covers the area I need it in and I have been using this for squats and when I go heavy on the leg press. I have been dealing with knee pain for years, so it's great having a product that allows me to keep working hard. I started this year with a 405 pound leg press max, and after just over 3 months I can now press 1,000 pounds. I use these wraps once I get over 540 just to be safe. During squats, the material provides kind of a spring effect on the way up to help get in extra reps and provide support. I feel like they make me more stable, but that could just be a mental thing.Overall, I recommend these if you're looking for some extra support on squats or leg presses.

Great first wraps
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. First time using wraps on my knees. Hit a 405 x 4 @ 165 bw and I honestly felt like I could do a 455 on my first rep. Knees felt great. Great support.

Good Customer Service
After about a dozen uses, the edges of the wraps are beginning to fray. So the quality seems to be pretty low.***Update: I adjusted my rating up. Customer service assured me that the fraying edges must have been a one-off situation, and they sent me a new pair. So I have to give them a thumbs up for good customer service; they certainly didn't have to replace the item and could have just let my review fade away into the background, but they seem confident enough in their product that they sent me a new product and were extremely courteous. So given their commitment to their product, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that my first product was just a one-off bad item and that the new one will be better. I will update again if that doesn't prove to be true.As far as the functionality goes, I think they are a fine product; they are easy to use, and allow me to squat without aggravating my knees.

Great support for my knees in those heavy leg days
Bought this awhile back and they're still in good condition. I'm glad u bought the wraps with Velcro. The Velcro insure they're secure and haven't gave way or broke. They help a lot with providing support to my knees especially my left knee cause I had a slight tear on my MCL years ago playing football in my high school days. With these wraps i feel way more confident squatting heavier. A good buy for any gym goer who's serious about longterm lifting.

Great Knee Wraps for the Permenantly Injured Weight Lifter
I LOVE these wraps so far! They are durable and have strong velcro that is long enough where it will always line up when using them. For someone who has had multiple knee surgeries and injuries but still refuses to skip leg day, these have been a life saver to add extra support. I prefer wraps over compression sleeves because they are easily adjustable to tightness unlike sleeves. These have been some of the best ones I have used.My only complaint is they do slip if you don't overlap them perfectly. This is true for most knee wraps that I have used but it is still a problem when squating or doing leg press. Once you get used to them they will be fine! If you haven't tried knee wraps before do it! They will prevent injuries in the future.

Good but not great
These are well made and the fabric is nice but I just don't really like them as must as I won't too. I fall to see how they offer much support unless done up really tight. But then they just ends up making them hurt. Maybe it's just me as lots of other viewer tend to like them.

Would use Mava again
Excellent super for my new adventure into cross fit. I don’t have great knees but these straps work well and they do not gather above or below over the work out period. Very impressed with Mava products.

Great product, sturdy and strong, adjustable!
This review is for Mava Knee Wraps (72" Straps) with Velcro (Orange)The Mava Knee wrap straps came neatly packaged in a resealable sliding zip lock plastic package with the Mava brand logo on the front. The package is sturdy enough that you can repackage these wraps in them for storing when they are not in use. The Mava wraps are exactly as described in the product listing and arrived in perfect condition with perfect stitching. They are free from any craftsmanship errors.I have to say that this is another great product by Mava. We have tried a couple of their knee products because our preteen son is having a lot of issues with his knees and we really love their products. These knee wraps are very long and are wider than some of the knee straps we have used in the past, making them (in my opinion) a much better product because they can cover a better area. The elastic is very sturdy and strong and the Velcro has a great hold. I like that these are adjustable to fit your needs, you can adjust which area of your knee you need the most compression and support on and they are long enough that you can leave a generous amount below and above the knee. I love the length because they can be used for people of different sizes, whether you have small or large legs these knee wraps will meet your needs.Pros:Longer lengthWider strapVery strong VelcroAdjustable so they are great for people of all sizesCons:NoneGreat product!Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, this did not effect my review in any way. All opinions are my own and I stand by this product and my review. I will not be compensated in any way for writing this review.

Very nice wraps for knee support.
I've never used any knee wraps like these before so I wasn't too sure what they'd do for me but now that I've tried them I do think the extra support they provide is very helpful for lifting weights and reducing the possibility of knee strain. For those reasons these are definitely good to have and should be especially useful to me going forward since I'm starting to get older now (just turned 40 lol).I just wish I knew about these years ago after I had a nasty bike accident that sent me flying over my handlebars and caused my right knee to slam down really hard on the concrete. I suffered with pain in that knee for a very long time afterwards and didn't think it would ever go away until I inadvertently cured it with gelatin powder of all things. I started taking that as an extra protein/collagen source and to help with exercise recovery but to my amazement it also healed my knee and made the pain completely disappear. If you have any similar injuries I highly recommend doing some research on this and trying it yourself. (great for other problems like arthritis too)I was also impressed with how well made these knee wraps are and I don't forsee the material losing it's elasticity any time soon. I just hope the velcro will stand up to abuse but only time will tell with that. Wrapping the knees is a very easy process but can take a bit of extra fiddling and experimentation to achieve the desired amount of tension. Like some of the other reviewers mentioned they can slip a bit at times but I bet the same would happen with any other brand as well.Overall I think these knee sleeves are very useful and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for extra knee support.*I did receive these at a generous discount for posting my honest review.

They are easy to apply and even easier to secure
I bought these knee wraps a couple of weeks ago in preparation for doing a squat max-out at the gym. I'm getting to a level of weight where I feel that my knees are getting a little shaky. It's my first time using any sort of knee wraps and I must say I'm quite impressed with these. They are easy to apply and even easier to secure. I have had no issues with these guys so far. As I haven't tried these a have a limited comparison basis but these seem like quality wraps that I think you'll enjoy. I will recommend these to you.
