PROS:The guard came pre-drilled for two screw holes and included two screws.A metal sleeve slides to adjust the size of the mouse guard, so it fits any width hive entrance.Metal is sturdy and should last many years.CONS:There are two pre-drilled screw holes on the guard, one at the top and one on the bottom lip of the guard that rests on the landing board. The top screw hole doesn't reach the top of the entrance to my hives, so there is no surface to screw the top of the guard to. This leaves only one screw on the bottom lip to affix and stabilize the guard, which isn't enough. I think that the top of the guard needs to be deeper. I either have to weld an extension with a screw hole to the top or drill more screw holes in the bottom lip to stabilize the guard.The entrance holes on the guard are drilled for a left entrance only. Would be nice to be able to also having a right entrance option.

Worked greatAlthough i wish it was a bit taller as the top screw hole was too short and because of it i wasnt able to get a screw in the top so only one screw is holding this on but otherwise a great product

The media could not be loaded.  The holes needed to be drilled lower. As they are, they're half blocked by my deep box, and the bees have too tight a squeeze to get through. Now I wish I had gotten the style that has two rows of holes to ensure a better fit.

I recently purchased mouse guards and they were a PERFECT fit for my 8 frame beehive and easy to install. My new bees are getting accustomed to their new home. I've installed the guards early because there are field mice in my area, and I want to ensure that they would not get into my hive. They arrived in great condition, no bends or blemishes.

Got the product in a timely fashion. It is exactly as described and I like getting the 2 pack for a very reasonable price. I just needed one but like having an extra. Stuck it in the hive entrance and looks good.

This product works really well and can fit both my 8 frame and 10 frame hives. So far using it for pest prevention in the winter, really happy with this purchase.
