RegattaMens Holcombe IEP Low Rise Walking Trainers

I’ll start this by stating I’m no where near being a walker… I’m 40, 2 kids and married! You get the picture right, balding, chunky but still needs to get out in to the countryside, parks and the seaside in the winter! I’ve been eyeing up some proper walking boots, but when they seemed to be north of £80 it seems excessive for my seaside walks, walking to the park and the occasional countryside walk, but then I spotted these walking trainers! Priced for a normal shoe, but with good soles, water proofed and look decent I figured id give them a try! Admittedly I do feel bad I got them from Amazon instead of the local retailer id originally seen them in! But they fantastic! Comfy and waterproof (though only to your ankle! They shoes not boots!) so if you are like me, or a dog walker in the country side I think these would be perfect!

Comes up very slightly small and I needed to use a shoe stretcher to stop them rubbing my big toe. Once stretched they are pretty lightweight and comfortable

Had these over a week now & been on several walks in wet long grass. They are super comfy, warm & very waterproof. Absolutely love them!

My husband is extremely hard on walking shoes. He wears them daily and is lucky to get 6mths out of even the most expensive shoes that would be considered market leaders. 12mths on these shoes are still on the go, still waterproof and only slight wear on the soles. Have already purchased another pair to replace the current pair. Added bonus there was no break in time. Happy customer.

These shoes work for me as value alternative to crazy price of cycling shoes

I normally take a size 10 in similar shoes from other brands (occasionally 9.5, sometimes 10.5). Size 10 was too small for me, so I returned and got an 11, but even that is pretty snug. I'm not sure I believe that I take a 12.
