Ok, as others have mentioned, this rack does require assembly. There are a few spare nuts and bolts, but don't lose them. First impressions are that the metalwork looks nice, with a suitable covering of black paint. The instructions are a little vague, but manageable if you're alright with this kind of stuff.There is a weight limit of 25kg and I strongly advise that you don't go over this. The arms look quite sturdy, but the bolts could break.On an early trip I lost the bolt nearest my rear gears. Thankfully it was a local trip, but the rattling all the way home was annoying and one piece (the bracket) was bent as a result. I've managed to get it straightened up but it now bends easily. I managed to fit a longer bolt in the "wrong way" (accoring to the instructions) and this hasn't come undone since. As I was unable to find the original nut & bolt, I don't know if they came loose or broke.The rear reflector is nice. The rack could have done with a place to fit a rear light though. When I have something bulky on top of the rack the rear light under my seat isn't visible, so I bought a cheap light that fits to the side of the wheel support. The rack arms were too thin.Typically I'm now using the rack to hold a Pannier and tripods. As a result the rack is serving it's intended pupose very happily for me. With all the arms, fitting a couple of bungie cords to secure the tripods in place works well.

As most reviewers have said there is a small element of fitting together the unit but its not complex. However take time to check the pictures on the diagram to ensure you have things the right way around. It took under 30 mins to install with the right tools and preparation. I have a disc bike (Genesis Flyer 2020) and it all fitted ok.

Had to replace a rack which wasn't fitting properly. Took a risk with this one, and it paid off. Easy to fit and works much better than the previous one.Only negative was a lack of bolts to use. Had to supply my own.

Not 5 star for install and assemble as there are LOTS of fitting options which need to be considered. A very flexible, sturdy, well priced product.

Sturdy and simple, but there's a major design flaw - the bolts on the side that connect the top to the side bars stick out. This means you can't get certain pannier bags on. On my pannier bag there's a plastic rail for the hooks that clashes with the bolts. Can't believe no one thought this through or tested it.

The main reason I wanted this rack was because my last one wasn't wide enough and so the pannier bags kept touching the wheel spokes. For this particular purpose the rack was perfect. I did have a bit of trouble trying to find screws that were right for my frame, so I took it to a bike shop and they got me some.

I bought two of these racks for our new bikes. My frame is a large gents (Specialized Sirrus X) and my wife's bike is the same model, with a medium step through frame.The rack fitted my bike, but would not go onto my wife's bike washout additional fixings sourced by myself. The problem is the way the upper part connects to the seat stays. On my bike the holes for the rack are at just the right angle, but on my wife's bike they are slightly different, meaning that the screws will not fit at the correct angle, and the degree of adjustment available wasn't enough.Furthermore, the panniers we were going to put on this rack will not fit. On each side of the rack there are three bolts/screws which hold the top part to the rest. The bolts stick out quite far and prevent any pannier rack with a flat, fixed clipping system from fitting.The rack works just as expected on my bike, and seems robust enough. My older style panniers with simple clips fit fine. But I could not recommend this rack, since it may not fit your bike or the bag you want to put on it!

I'm really impressed by this rack. You have to be handy with a decent 10mm spanner and M5 allen key but it goes together easily and can be adjusted for a perfect fit. Comes with a massive reflector and a cargo net too. Having the allen screws along the side gave me options for attachment of an LED light. Really good!

Livré complet, juste une petite adaptation pour qu'il soit bien horizontal. Les bras avant devraient etre plus grand pour plus de polyvalence. Dinon bonne qualité a bien resisté a un periple de 13j bien chargé

Der Gepäckträger sieht schick aus und kann auch stabil. Leider passt er nicht an das Focus Thron.Schnelle Lieferung und problemlose Rückabwicklung.

Adapter sind dabei um den Träger an das Fahrrad an zu passen.

Sehr billig, teilweise zerkrazt. Aufbau ist fummelig und das Gestänge an sich verbogen. Die Schrauben sind billig und überdrehen. Die Anbringung "nach vorne" zum Sattelrohr ist auf den Bildern und in der Anleitung immer unterschiedlich dargestellt. Unter'm Strich wäre dieser Träger ca 5€ wert.
