This lens worked like a charm until it flooded (took less than fifty dives). It might be possible to unscrew the dome and dry it out, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen again…

Used this for five minutes in less than three feet of water. The fixed seal between the glass elements allowed water inside the lens, making it totally useless.I may be able to take it apart and fix this. However, I strongly recommend against purchasing this defective piece of junk.

I would say overall great product for my level of use. I would like to see it come with a protextive cover but you can purchase separate or make your own from an old wetsuit. The lens does its job. Regarding "leak." You should detach the lens from camera housing and permit water into the cavity between the two. This can be done with sea water if super clear or before the dive in a bucket. This is common practice for application.
