I've owned Fluke meters for over 40 years and the quality never disappoints. I'd always wanted a clamp style meter and finally decided to treat myself. This is another outstanding Fluke product. Price was good and the meter design is ergonomic. Like all my Flukes, readings are accurate and trustable.

This is a good, reasonably priced meter that’s more than suitable for most basic electrical measurement tasks.The current accuracy (±2% ±5 counts) is a bit marginal for small currents, and it’s pretty basic as a multimeter. But most tasks don’t require much more. When reading a plugged device, the ±5 counts can largely be overcome by using a line splitter with a 10× multiplier loop. A Fluke 87V (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002YFD1K) with a Fluke i400 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EA1ETC) can provide an extra digit of resolution, but this is probably more than needed for most things.Fluke meters are mighty expensive compared with most others, but they hold up very well—I have some that are fine after 30 years. I had the original 8020A in the late 1970s, and I’ve never bought any other brand.

Accurate, great meter and quality products I recommend

I received my meter the next day after purchase which we all love that kind of quickness when it comes to our stuff. The meter seems to be of high quality. I am new to the electrical trade and this is my second fluke only because my last one was stolen. So I won’t leave any response when it comes to being accurate because as I’ve said I’m new so I don’t want to leave the wrong response. I have used it several times already for ac and dc voltage and I’m almost positive the reading I got was accurate. Everything about this meter I love. The test leads do fit into the jacks very tight. So there isn’t a problem with that. The only and I mean only down fall is I’m going to have to buy a new set of test leads only because they are so stiff. They seem to be made from hard plastic and I hate that. Especially since this is a fluke. They should come with the best leads. Not crappy ones. I will order my new leads from fluke only because after doing a lot of research I found that all fluke test leads are 59” long. And I seen where fluke test leads being sold on amazon are coming in all different lengths so I am glad I know this. I hope this helps when you go to order this clamp meter. And yes the box was in English as was paper work that came with the meter so it did come from the U.S. I hope this helps.
