Great for slicing SPAM evenly and easily. So far no breakage.

This is not just for spam. Till it brakes. I used it on only soft things, eggs, canned corn beef, etc. In fact I use this mostly on spam and that is the hardest thing I have cut with it. The third or fourth time I used it, it came a part. The metal cutting frame popped out of the plastic base. It popped back in, but it will prove a fatal flaw in the future. Spam is a little too hard/dense for this the "Spam Slicer" to cut. Go slow, also the spam being greasy tends to slide back and does not want to be cut. I will have to use this in two pieces eventually. Bringing the wires down evenly from above will be better and easier to cut with.I am glad I got this. Would I buy it again? No.

Good for cutting spam working well so far

well made. bought this after seeing the spam and rice commercial. made the dish but cutting the spam in pieces is hard for arthritic hands. THIS SLICER is perfect. work well and is sturdy. wash by hand. would buy again . we also cooked up some spam and refrigerated to toss in our scrambled eggs :)

Have only used this twice now, but it does work good. Quite often I will buy the Walmart brand of luncheon meat. I position the meat on the slicer so that the better looking end will get one full slice on this thing and will cut off the smaller uneven end. I end up with 9 perfect slices. This is to make Musubi, and they look so perfect now. This is not for cutting anything that is hard in any way. Would work good for the luncheon meat or boiled eggs, or boiled potatoes maybe. I just got it to make musubi, and for that it's perfect.

Cuts well and even to use and wash

It really like this slicer but it comes off the hinges too easily especially when slicing.

I like it. Pretty easy to clean. use it for hard boiled eggs also.
