Nothing special

I'm becoming quite a fan of TheQuoteWell books. I really enjoyed the previous book in the series 'Leadership: Inspirational Quotes to Create a Wise Leader', so, in the mood for romance, I thought I'd also give this book a try.Firstly, I loved the variety of quotes in this book. It isn't just full of old fashioned, poetic protestations of love and devotion (although you'll be pleased to hear that there are plenty of these included). No, many of the quotes are bang up to date, and some come from quite unexpected sources! Secondly, I like the fact that the book consists solely of quotes, so no complicated commentary to plough through; it makes for very easy reading.Of course, the book would make a wonderful gift for a loved one, but equally, it makes a lovely gift for oneself. It certainly reminded me of the importance of love in our lives, and not just romantic love. Personally, I think the love that exists amongst families and friends is even more powerful a force. All in all, an inspirational book, thoughtfully compiled, that will provide you with all the impetus you need to think about and appreciate those people in your life who mean the most.
