Beauty and the Beast

This is just the one I wanted (tho I did enjoy the later Emma Watson version as well). CD arrived in perfect shape.

I love music. Any kind of music. Today I was listening to classical music, but I especially like having Disney music for when little ones are around.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy the soundtrack for this movie. I first saw the movie probably 15 years ago, and among Disney films, the story is one of my favorites. The music (both the songs with lyrics and the score) is a great reflection of the story line itself: the humor, the romance, the action, and even the sad parts. I also like that there is so much dialogue within the soundtrack. Also, having never seen the special edition of the movie, I had never heard the track "Human Again". That was a fun song, remeniscent of "Be Our Guest". Overall, a wonderful album for fans of Disney films and music.

Received my "Beauty & The Beast" soundtrack today. It's a bright, crystal-clear recording, excellent quality. Captures all the magic and beauty of the animated film. Especially enjoy having the soundtracks from our favorite Disney films to listen to on drives to Disneyland--the music sets the mood and gets everyone so excited for the park! Would like to note that my CD did arrive with a badly smashed jewel case. Fortunately the CD isn't damaged and the case is easily replaceable, but a bubble wrap-padded manila envelope is NOT adequate packaging for shipping a CD!!!

I actually did not even open this. I thought I might need to listen to it because I'm going to play keyboard for this show at a high school, but we have a different source to hear the OBC recording. Still the disk looks like brand new!

If you like Beauty and the Beast, and want to get your kids and husband excited to go to Disney World, leave subtle clues. Put this music on while cleaning the house, driving together in your car, etc. And soon they'll be humming along, then progressively singing each of the 16 tracks word for word!!Excellent music. Delivered on time. Nicely protected in packaging inside box. And not a scratch or problem with the brand new CD.

Brought this soundtrack mainly becasue I love soundtracks, weather they be action, comedies, romance or kids films. My daughter however, loves this soundtrack and is asking to watch the movie and listen to the soundtrack at least 3 or 4 times a day.This particular soundtrack seems to have some tracks that are not in the movie, and at the same time the movie has some tracks that arent on the soundtrack. Go figure.A good buy all around though in my opinion.

My 3.5 year old loves Beauty and the Beast. The music is fabulous. Unfortunately as this is not the Special Edition soundtrack, it does include "Human Again" which is her favorite song from the movie. Still it's nice to get a hard copy CD she can put in a CD player, press play and listen. I like the bonus of lyrics (which are hard to read for older eyes) though she knows most of the words by herself! My rating would be 5 if it included Human Again.

Diese Musikstuecke sind mehr als nur Begleitmusik zu einem Disney-Film. Sie erinnern mehr an ein sehr gutes Konzert.Die Melodien sind eingaengig und laden sofort zum Nachsummen ein. Die Stimmen sind elegant und der Text ist gut verstaendlich. Auch der Fortgang der Geschichte wird lueckenlos abgedeckt und ist damit nachvollziebar (das ist leider nicht immer selbstverstaendlich bei Musical-CDs oder Filmmusik).Das macht 5 Sterne.

Great soundtrack to listen to especially in car and imagine i'm watching the movie.
