Nice quality at first, but hasn't held up as expected
UPDATE: After 2 uses, the plastic neck where the fiberglass stem of the tee inserts into the base has become detached from the metal. You can see where it was glued together and apparently the glue wasn't strong enough to hold it. The tee did get hit a few times when my kids swung low, but nothing severe enough that I think this should have happened on our second use. Tees are going to get hit by kids learning the game and should be able to withstand a few errant swings. I am still considering whether to return this or try to glue it back together, because it seems sturdy otherwise, but am disappointed that this happened.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really nice tee for the price, and collapsibility and portability are a big plus. Shrinks down to nothing and fits easily into the carry bag that came with our 7' practice net. Feels very solidly made and is very stable, you have to really mishit to knock this thing over. And even after my daughter hit the frame hard enough to send the whole tee flying into the net twice in a row there wasn't a dent or scratch to be found.

3 Strikes - this one is Out - obliterated afer only a few sessions with Girls Softball team.
First let me say that I help coach a 12 and under girls softball team - recreational ball. And so there are some girls there who are experienced, and some who are newer. This tee lasted about a month, give or take and probably about 6 tee sessions with the team. It did take some hard whacks from girls who swung wildly, so I can accept that this is a factor. Nonetheless, it's in the garbage now.The first part to give way were the little red plastic brackets where the tripod legs attach to the center pole - one of them broke right away but fortunately never separated. Annoying but - manageable. The second part to give way was the neck area where you twist to tighten the white stem - hard to explain but it's like there is a 'knob' on the top that you can use to tighten/loosen the white stem and extend it...well the knob itself busted free (looks like it was sort of glued on) so when you turn it, it's the whole knob that turns and it's not loosening or tightening anything. In fact that problem also allows the entire top half to separate and slide right out (so if the tee knocks over I basically had to put it back together again). The final part to give way was the actual wrapped rubber cone that holds the softballs - it tore near the base and began to lean over such that it wouldn't hold a ball any longer. One, two, three strikes - this thing was OUT for me. I thought about contacting the manufacturer, but instead went with a different product that is heavy duty rubber all throughout and decided to just cut my losses.Maybe if you never accidentally make accidental contact below the rubber area, it would hold up better, I can't say, but for younger kids in a recball environment who may still be learning how to aim their swing, I'd suggest avoiding this product.

Great Concept. Great Price. Poor Quality.
I purchased this tee for my 8 & 9 year old daughters, and, while I love the concept and price for an ultra-portable tee, we have been disappointed. At it's lowest setting, my kids, both around 4'8" tall +/- 2 inches, can hit off it, but it would be nice if it went lower.Although it is light weight, even modest contact with the tee itself and it goes flying. We find ourselves occasionally digging it out of the net, as it would sometimes fly 2 - 3 feet in the air, even from my small daughters swings. Weighting the bottom would help this tremendously, so this could be worked around. My biggest issue with this tee is that it's just not very durable. The plastic piece that holds the white rod that has the rubber cone on it where you set the ball in place broke into 2 pieces shortly after we started using it. The rubber cone on top where you set the ball is too flimsy for the modestly weighted balls we sometimes use, and doesn't even do great with standard 11" softballs.I've been happy with other Powernet products. They seem to make great budget products, and I would buy them, again, but I definitely regret getting this tee. Spend a little more and get a quality tee, or just make one yourself.

PowerNet Products are great...except for this tee!
Update: completely broken. I didn't try to contact customer service because they promised two weighted balls but never followed up with that product eitherThis training aid will not stand the test of time. I bought this for my 11 year old son and used it for about 500 swings. The bottom of the tee where the legs meet the main shaft is made of plastic. That plastic piece broke off and now the tee is unsusable...about three months after I bought it. If this tee was built better, I would give it 5 stars. I recommend the product but please understand that it will not last too long.I have three other PowerNet products. The 7 ft net, the caddy and the power through balls and each of the other products have worked out great. This is the only PowerNet product I had an issue with.

Did not hold up to being used.
It arrived quickly and works as I expected. It is the right size for my 10 year old son and adjusts for others. I have only had it for a couple of days and it seems to be sturdy. Hopefully it lasts through the season. I will adjust my review later if anything happens in the future.Update: After using the tee for about two months (about 12 times) the bottom piece of plastic broke where one of the legs attach to the shaft. It was not abused nor used incorrectly. I tried to contact PowerNet about a warranty but did not get any response after a week. I would not recommend this tee at this time. I will be looking for a more robust tee that will hold up to the use.

Great for young kids
I have an 8 year old boy and 6 year old girl. We've had this product for a few weeks now and it has held up great so far. Pros: - My kids hit baseballs, softballs and those heavy weighted balls on this tee. - The part that holds the ball is a stiff flexible rubber piece = less chance of cracking/breaking. - Easy enough for my kids to set up on their own - Folds up for easy storageCons: - The rubber is not a solid piece, it's a flat piece that is rolled up. I can see it unravelling over time.
