GM bypass module
I ordered the module and thought that it came with the current firmware. The firmware was not loaded into the module. Possibly my misunderstanding. however there was a little slip of paper in there that said to access the website for installation instructions. After accessing the website and getting a server maintenance error for a week I returned the unit.

currently installed in 2006 toyota 4runner
works great so far and i really don't think i'll have any problems with it. this item is meant for connecting your car alarm so that you don't have to figure out what wire goes where on your vehicle. this module connects with your alarm and communicates with it so that the car alarm works with the vehicle's normal functions.
