2 x XupZip™ Vacuum Sealer Rolls | 5 Bone Guards with Extra One Meter | 28cm x 6.5m |We have been using our vacuum sealer quite a bit the past few months due to growing a our own vegetables this year. We find vacuum sealer bags so useful as it not only saves space in the fridge or freezer, it also helps prevent the food from icing up in the freezer. The only downside is that we do tend to get through a lot of vacuum sealer bags in the process.These bags perform well in our vacuum sealer. The air is sucked out quite quickly and better than some that we've tried, this is probably due to the heavy texture on the roll which allows air to pass through quite quickly when the sealer roll is placed in the machine.There are 2 rolls provided, these are supplied in a strong box along with 5 bone guards which I have to confess that I've never used before. Each roll measures 28 cm in width, each are 6.5 metres in length with a total of 13 metres.What I particularly like about this product is that it has a white strip along one edge where you can write on it using a freezer pen. I find this particularly useful as I can now write the date on the bag indicating how long the food has been in the freezer (or fridge). Bags do not seal properly and leak. Disappointing as most the reviews looked good.

Best thing about these rolls is you can choose what size of bags you want. Just roll off the required length and cut, then seal the cut side.It's not the only benefit of having these bags though. There are many bags on the market and little details make a big difference. For starters this one has a line at the top which can be used for labelling. It comes very handy in the freezer. Besides every now and then at the bottom line you'll have a slight cut which enables you to tear the bag and get to the inside without having to use scissors.The bag is good quality, with a texture that allows for both sealing and vacuuming. It's compatible with all the good quality vacuum sealers, including mine.There are two rolls, each is 6.5m long and 28cm wide. There are also 5 bone guards which are basically much thicker, almost solid, small sheets of foil. I guess they can be used to reinforce the bag if you're putting any food with bones, which may spoil the bag while sucking the air out. I've never come across these before so looking forward to using them.The foils are good for freezing as well as microwaving. You can even cook the food inside the bags (sous vide). They are also BPA free.The set is reasonably priced for the length of the foils and the quality. I would buy them in future so I'm happy to recommend them.Thank you for reading my review.
