I needed a way to eliminate shadows over the top of an Optishot 2 golf simulator module and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s height adjustable, bright, and the warm color temp setting is perfect for this application. The light it throws in this situation perfectly lights up the hitting mat, sensor area, ball tray, and where your’re standing, mostly because of the flexible boom and how stable the base is at this low height. It’s a very slick, high-end effect. An unexpected, albeit fortuitous, benefit is that this light can take a hit from a golf club…or several. It’s been knocked over from some post-shot carelessness but is no worse for wear.As a full height floor lamp, this could struggle a bit with stability due to the lightness of the base, but as a desk lamp or, as in my case, a way to close-illuminate a surface, this thing is an absolute champ.

This was exactly what I was looking for in an over-the-shoulder lamp that was unobtrusive--almost concealed behind an easy chair. It keeps the memory of previous settings. It provides several light color temperatures to suit your reading comfort. I'm very happy with the lamp.

This floor lamps is gorgeous! It lights my whole room up! The base is sturdy and it doesn’t wobble, love the on and off switch on the cord, highly recommend and pretty easy to assemble!

Purchased this as a chair side light for knitting. As shipped and assembled it was a little tall for my use. The stand column consists of several (about 10 inch) sections that screw together. One section was easily removed and improved matters. Removing a second section required enlarging the hole in the base for the cord so the excess could be pulled through. (The column will not accomodate the extra unused cord length). There is an internal cord plug so disassembly allowed the cord and bottom piece to be removed which was drilled out in the garage. For safety and cord life an oversized grommet was placed in the enlarged hole. The lamp now works very nicely without spilling unwanted glare away from the task at hand.

There is nothing I don't like about this lamp, especially for the price. It is a bit flimsy, as it has no real weight to it but it is securely next to my desk and provides just the amount of lighting that I needed. The desk lamp that I was using just didn't provide sufficient amount of lighting. Most of the time I keep it on the same setting but I like that I can change it if I need to do so. I would definitely recommend this item.

Love this lamp! I bought this lamp to help me see my stitches as I hand quilt. It has absolutely exceeded my expectations. The photo to the left is without using the light and the light is on in the second photo. What a difference good lighting makes. Instead of assembling the lamp to its full height, I chose to leave out two of the extenders. This puts the lamp at the right height for me while sitting. This was a GREAT buy.

we have several of these lamps and the power supply has failed on 2 of them. We were able to try the one operating power supply on the failed lamps. There is no contact to get new power supplies. You can only buy new lamps..

I was surprised how small the box was when I received this lamp. Very simple but effectively designed. There are four metal poles with threads that you screw together and that is also how you adjust the height. If you want it shorter you might only use two or three poles. The square base is small enough to fit into any corner, great lamp for limited space. Even though it is very lightweight and easy to pick up and carry I haven't had any issues with it tipping over. It has a variety of different lighting settings for any task and mine came with a 2 year warranty. I think compared to other lighting in this price range you can't go wrong with this light. Great seller! Shipped out quickly and followed up with email making it easy to address any concerns. I am very happy with my purchase!
