Back in the sadle
I started learning to play many years,ago and gave up because of a lack of time and space. This is brilliant, feels, plays and sounds great. Might take a while but I'll get there. This arrived really well pack and early. Unpacking and assembly was easy, the wiring is very simple as well but I still haven't got the hang of folding it just yet.

Throne is great, headphones are awful.
The throne itself is great, easy to assemble, feels sturdy and quality built. A little firmer than I'd have liked, but that's just a personal preference. The headphones is where it gets let down... When you consider the quality of the Alesis kit and the throne... Everything feels well made... Until the headphones which feel cheap and flimsy, they're not comfortable to wear, the adjustability is dire.Luckily I bought this mostly for the throne, and in that aspect I'm happy. I just expected better quality in the headphones.

Throne okay, headphones awful
The throne is super easy to assemble. Lightweight and sturdy enough that I don't feel worried about sitting on it. The headphones however are absolutely awful. I mean really bad. They are plasticky, they don't fit any head properly, the sound quality is terrible, and they don't go loud enough to actually hear properly. You cannot hear yourself playing the kick at all. I gave up on them after a few minutes and wired a proper set of headphones up with an aux cable. In short; get the throne separately, do not spend money on these headphones.
