It does the job with a few caveats
If you want to move your internal speaker to right by your head as I did, it works as intended. However, the sound quality is lacking. It seems like the volume range of this speaker compared to the built-in is halved. But...right next to my head it doesn't really matter.Speaking of next to my head, I have this placed on the column right next to my seat. The included adhesive does NOT work which I found out after getting back in the truck shortly after installation only to find it swinging. I tried to restick it to no avail. Wound up jamming the base of it under the column cover which has done the trick but I would definitely recommend using screws to mount this somewhere that you can't jam it into something like I did.

Terrible fidelity
The audio quality is far inferior to that of the built in radio speaker. I'll be returning this item.

This small size speaker had big box quality. Fits in those tight areas where others just can’t. Don’t pay more when this one can do it.

Good little speaker
Bought this for a mobile ham radio, which had a fairly poor internal speaker.This speaker is small, light, seems well-built. Plenty loud at 2 watts, with only some distortion when the volume is cranked to 100%. Would buy again.

Gret Hearing Extension
When I had to have a speaker external of my radio, I found this unit. It extends my audio from the radio to my location. It provides more than enough volume and clarity when the vehicle it is installed in is on the road and the road noise is very loud. Full clarity is there and it is an excellent add-on to my radio.
