Melora Manuka Honey and Oil Body Lotion, 7 fl oz, Moisturizing and HealingI consistently use lotions after the shower on my legs and arms, so I can go through a bottle pretty fast, and I’m always looking for an effective and good smelling body lotion. This Manuka Honey lotion isn’t my favorite, but it’s still been moisturizing, and it has a nice scent.First – what I liked. The bottle is easy to use, the lotions is a good texture (not too thick, not too thin) and I liked the scent. The scent is honey-ish but also has some floral and herbal notes; it’s not straight honey. The perfume is a little strong but I liked it so it didn’t bother me. The lotions spread easily and absorbed into my skin quickly.Some negatives; I felt like this lotion was a little oily; fine on my legs and arms right after the shower, maybe not so great on hands/feet and maybe not so great for when you need a lotion to spread when you’re out and about, since it will be noticeable in the sun. I also thought the bottle was a little small for a body lotion.Overall, though, I liked this lotion. Good scent and moisturizing.

Melora Double Action Body LotionThis cream is so soothing to my super dry skin and I can see that it is helping the scratches and scrapes on my arms from my new puppy. Even though this contains alcohol, it is helping my skin so much. I also love the scent - I have no idea what it is but it smells clean and fresh. This is a very large tube of lotion, 7 fluid ounces (200 ml). To me the scent smells very sour, and unfortunately that scent lingers on my skin after I've applied the lotion. I had to not just wash, but scrub my hands to try to get rid of the odor, otherwise I smelled it every time I put my hands anywhere near my face. Even after a good scrubbing, there were still traces of the smell on my hands. I could also smell it on my forearms, and the smell lingered for quite some time. I looked for an expiration date to see if it had simply expired and the oil had gone rancid or something, but all I found was a lot number. In spite of the smell, however, I am thrilled with the results from this lotion. My legs and arms were so dry I was scratching them all the time, and one application of this lotion made them soft, smooth, and re-hydrated. The lotion comes out of the tube in a thin white line, so it's very easy to control how much I use. It absorbs very well, and a little bit of lotion covers a fairly large area. I suspect this large tube will last me for a good while, and at $9.99 a tube, I consider this a very good bargain. I downgraded it to 4 stars because of the wicked smell.

If you've read any of my reviews, you already know that I'm a lotion addict. I requested this from Vine as soon as I saw it and here we are. This review is of: Melora Double Action Body Lotion.With both Manuka honey and oil, I thought there was no way this lotion could fail. I was mostly right! I am not sure what I expected it to smell like, maybe honey? But it doesn't smell like anything honey-like or honey related. I'm not sure how to describe the scent, but to me, it's light and does not linger.As far as the lotion itself, it was a bit oilier than I expected. For me that makes this the lotion I use straight out of the shower. (Other than at that time, oily lotions tend to dry me out for some reason.) It goes on smoothly and absorbs very quickly, leaving my skin super moisturized for about 12 hours. If I put it on before work, by the end of the day my skin is in need of moisture again.Overall, I'm pleased with this lotion and its moisturizing capabilities. I was thinking it would be thicker, because honey, but then there is also the Manuka oil which thins it out, I guess. Either way, it's all day moisture and that always works for me.

Ich habe dieses Produkt im Rahmen eines Tests verwendet und hatte keine bestimmten Erwartungen. Die Körpercreme ist gut verträglich auch bei empfindlicher Haut. Bei der Entnahme gibt es auch keine Probleme. Der Geruch ist eher medizinisch, obwohl man bei Honig etwas Süßliches erwartet. Es war generell meine erste Erfahrung mit Manuka. Dieser Inhaltsstoff wirkt sich hier natürlich auch auf den Preis aus. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass etwas an dieser Creme schlecht ist außerdem dem gewöhnungsbedürftigen Geruch. Dass der positive Unterschied zu anderen Cremes deutlich überwiegt (außer doch recht natürlichen Zusätzen), aber auch nicht wirklich.

Die beiden Öle riechen sehr ähnlich und bieten sehr guten Pflegeschutz bei sensibler und problematischer, zu Entzündung neigender Haut. Bodylotion mit Manuka Honig und Manukaöl ist ein Naturheilmittel und wird seit tausenden von Jahren in Neuseeland als Heilmittel verwendet. Für die Maori Ureinwohner hat die Manuka Pflanze (Südseemyrte) als Heilpflanze eine besondere Bedeutung.Nach Anbruch ist die Melora Manuka Bodylotion 12 Monate haltbar.Diesen Geruch muss man mögen, sie ist feuchtigkeitsspendend, nährend und stellt das Gleichgewicht der Haut wieder her. Sie ist perfekt bei trockener und juckende und auch bei Altershaut geeignet. Die Bodylotion ist sehr ergiebig. Es reicht schon eine mandelgroße Menge für eine große Fläche. Bei sparsamer Verwendung zieht sie schnell ein und klebt nach der Anwendung nicht. Die Pflegewirkung ist sehr gut und lang anhaltend, daher von mir eine Empfehlung bei problematischer Haut.
