Package was in great shape
I never got to test this power supply but I completely forgot how high tier my build was and orders this too.

Compact size for 500 watt PSU
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The form factor was ideal for a PC test bed using an open frame for motherboard and drives and I only needed 500 watts for a bare bones system. It arrived a few hours late but no problem as I used a larger ATX PSU to test out the components with Windows and swapped out the PSU this morning. Despite being in an open rig, the fan is not that noisy and with an i5-6500 CPU with NVEM for the boot disk, its quiet.

Loud and Shuts off under load
Junk psu with bad power efficiency and couldnt handle the load of my low power components causing full system shut downs. This was also the loudest power supply ive ever owned. Replaced with a different brand psu and everything is quiet and properly powered now. Please heed my advice and do not buy this just because of the low price. The PSU is the one part of a computer you should never cheap out on and it will save you a lot of time and money later if you get a better sfx option than this one

Not to shabby
Needed this for a super budget SFF itx am4 3600 build with 3200mhz ddr4 and a old 3060ti. Something small, portable and can game. I know there's a mathematical way to predict how many watts you need. 500w seemed slim to me for what it was going to power. I took a chance on this. For only $36 I wasn't really expecting this to pull through. To my surprise no problems at all. Have gamed on this PC for hours no issue at all. Don't expect miracles if you have high performance parts, but if its a low power pc build this should do the trick, fantastic price as well.👌👍

Plenty of power for my aging desktop
Bought it for a small case in which I put an aging i7-2600 CPU running on a micro-ATX motherboard. Powers the CPU and motherboard and also the Geforce 1050 Ti card without breaking a sweat.

nice little inexpensive basic power supply in SFX format
works as it should, nothing mind blowing, a simple power supply with non modular or removable cords, does as it should no problems.

Great Value
I prefer to build ITX pc systems, so I am always looking for a good value power supply. While Apevia does make some rather cheap products, their power supplies have always been a good buy for me. I was putting together a system with an Intel i7-7700k, Nvidia GTX 1080 and all sorts of fancy rgb so I was looking for a power supply that could handle that at a decent price. I have 3 of these currently running systems with no issues. After overclocking and stress testing I saw a max power draw of 483 watts and the power supply handled it with no issues whatsoever. If you're looking for a good quality psu you really can't go wrong with this one.
