The BEST there is!
I can't imagine how anyone can give this product a negative review, but judging from the one negative words I read, the 10 poms weren't given food that followed that correctly followed the directions. Yes, this product will promote better digestion, and my rescued dog of 14 finally had all her digestive issues resolved when I switched her to this product. I use 2 lbs of ground cooked chicken, soak the Urban Wolf in 32 0z. of lo sodium chicken broth for at least 20 minutes. Cook c. lb of chicken lives blended with 2 hard boiled eggs, one can (5oz. of can'd salmon) and 1/2 c. of sunflower oil. I would not substitute salmon oil for this this amount of sunflower oil--but you can use salmon oil as a substitute for the can'd salmon. When the cooked chicken and livers have properly cooled, they are then all combined with the Urban Wolf that has been absorbed by the chix broth. The dog will have larger stools (a healthy brown color) and firmer ones, and may poo more than once a day. This was good for my rescued darling who never had proper digestion, and frequent diarrhea before Urban Wolf.THIS IS A MOST EXCELLENT PRODUCT. Do follow the directions--although I agree, adding a bit of kibble won't hurt the product's effectiveness. I know it takes effort to make it properly, but you should see how beautiful my dog's coat is, & how happy she is. Even the Vet is surprised how healthy my 4 leg'd Senior Citizen is.

I recentely purchased Urban Wolf for my 10 poms. I was somewhat concerned about the appearance of this product, since it looked different than anything I have ever seen. I followed the instructions and added it to chicken and an egg. My dogs had 3 meals and stopped eating this food. Their stools were extremly large and beige in color and they were lethargic.. They had been on acana which produced a small brown stool. Also, there is no expiration date on the bag, so who knows when it was made!!!The seller also does not offer a full refund for this product.

My German Shepherd has become an Urban Wolf dog!
My dog loves it. I just mix it into his dry food along with some grain free, high quality meat and veggie canned food. He weighs about 125 lbs. so this gives me a great way to get him the calories, and most important, the nutrition he needs.

Noticed some commenters, positive and negative do not know how to prepare properly.
First it must be mixed and with the proper amount of moisture and you do not add all the different meats listed, those are choices, one or the other, if you are adding many different types to the same batch you are adding too much meat protein. My problem with these type of products, by experience is the flax and tomato. At least this is ground flax and not whole seed and can cause serious problems. Flax oil is much safer after the food is mixed and cooled. The tomato must be without peel or seed as they cause about as many problems as the flax. It can cause serious irritation and inflammation. An earlier product I had problems with bloody vomit from a large and small dog. The large one died very painfully and the small one recovered. Be very careful. Also be careful of any mix that adds calcium, esp tricalcium, some go too far and then there is a problem with urinary stones and that is very expensive.

Solved Dogs' Digestive Problems
I added two Schipperke puppies to my home eight years ago. Shortly after they arrived, they became sick with a parasite known as coccidia. From that moment on, I lived a wretched existence comprised of constant cleaning (both the dogs and anything they came near), dog antibiotics, vet bills, emergency room visits, more vet bills, on and on. By the time they were two years of age, they were down to eating only rice mixed with turkey baby food (per vet instructions) and my bank account was depleted by thousands of dollars. Yet still they suffered from diarrhea and occasional bouts of vomiting. One day I found this food on the internet, and thought, "what the hell - I've tried everything else." When the food arrived, I mixed the "dust" (reminded me of fish chum we used as kids) with cooked turkey, water, and olive oil. I fed it to the dogs. They loved it, but I expected after a year of rice and Gerber's, they'd have loved anything. By day three, their diarrhea had stopped, and the only time it has returned in the past six years is when I have run out of this food and fed them something different. Truly. Day THREE! After a two-year ordeal! This food saved my dogs' lives. I notice that the formula has changed a bit over the years, and now the package directions suggest adding an egg and fish oil - and not to use olive oil. I just keep making it the way I always have. They still love it.There are downsides to using this food: it's soft, so plaque and tartar build up much faster than if the dogs were eating crunchy food. Also, I have to make a "batch" of food for them. I usually buy 2-1/2 lbs. of ground turkey, cook it up, grind it in the food processor, add it to 2 cups of dust, 2-1/2 cups of water, 1/4 cup olive oil, then mix it all together. Then, using a small ice cream scoop (1/4 cup), I put the food into those small disposable plastic containers made by Glad. This usually gives me 56 containers (two weeks' worth of breakfast and dinner for both dogs). I freeze the containers, putting them into the refrigerator the night before as necessary. In the morning, I dump the containers in their bowls, and microwave for 20 seconds. I guess this is a long way of saying it's more labor intensive than throwing a handful of kibble into a bowl. But, it has definitely been worth it for me and my dogs.I would enthusiastically recommend this food to any pet owner.
