Can it take full-sized toiletries and items? Yes. Should you use them in this particular sized toiletry bag? No. Not if you want the bag to be able to zip close and shut properly. I tested it out with only 2 large items (Jergens cream and Dove body wash) among several smaller/medium-sized ones. Lying flat, the bag was just fine. It holds everything. The bottles fit angled rather than fully upright because obviously they're too big for the width of the bag. The smaller items fit easily around the larger. However, as the pictures show, the bag could not zip up at all. My second test was using medium to small items only: rollerball perfumes, lip mask, moisturizer, face wash, deodorant, nail polish etc. These all fit perfectly with tons of room to spare and I was able to fold the bag and zip it shut without issue. The elastic loops inside the compartments hold whatever you put in them firmly in place. Obviously shorter items may slip out (i.e. the small fable&mane shampoo bottle), but taller ones hold just fine (the bath & body works body mist and lotion). The zipper compartments open and close smoothly. I stored some nail items in the upper one that has the hanger hook on, tons of room was still left. Lip balm, lip stick, makeup etc. would fit well here. In the lowermost compartment, a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and other dental care stuff would more than easily fit. The bag zipped up seamlessly and felt very lightweight even with all the med/small stuff in it.The bag appears to be made well, the fabric is good quality, the stitching is also pretty good. There aren't any visible flaws on the bag as far as I can tell. The gold hardware is a nice touch and makes it look fancy. All in all a good, sturdy, spacious travel bag that can carry a variety of items and won't weigh you down unless you over pack it with stuff.

My cousin had one of these and I just loved it. It's very large and spacious and has many different section to keep me organized. I used to have 2 different makeup bags and I love that I can fit everything in here. I also like the hanging hook for when I'm at the hotel. I love the gold zipper. Wish it came in different colors or patterns but really love this!

Read all reviews before ordering. Used on a 2 week cruise. I had small containers and it held them all. I used a separate bag for my carry on, and packed this in my big suitcase. I liked how I could hang it up on the back of the door out of the way in our cruise bathroom as there wasn't much counter space. Clear compartments made it easy to find everything. I haven't tried cleaning it, but looks decent. Hopefully if needed shouldn't be a problem. Sturdier than I expected for something off Amazon. Pleased and would recommend.
