Durable, heavy protection for your lower half
I bought these for chainsaw work but have started using them for anything where I think I’m going to get banged up or scratchedThey take a minute or two to get into and the legs are a bit long on me, but otherwise they are exactly what I wantedThey are on the heavy side and somewhat stiff, but I believe they will provide a good deal of protectionI would buy them again

Very nice chaps
I wear 32 inch long pants and the small fit perfect. Seems very well made and easy to put on and off.

Much heavier than my Stihl chaps.
These chainsaw chaps are heavy and long. They do have snaps in place to shorten them by 2 inches. They have three straps across the back, and the top thigh strap tends to get stuck around my knees when standing up. Added some length to the top thigh strap and solved the problem. They are long enough to cover the tops of my boots, unlike my Stihl chaps. If you don't mind the extra weight, they are solid chaps and will no doubt stop a saw for a lot less than my Stihl chaps.

Excellent - heavy-duty, but clips are hard to manage with gloves.
I decided to replace my old chaps, which have the scars of a few moments of idiocy where they saved my legs (life?). They were so beaten up that it was time to upgrade. I did so with these. While they are a lot heavier than my previous pair, I convince myself that heavy is good (when lugging cut wood up steep hills back to the truck etc.). I am more practiced now, so I tend not to chainsaw my thighs and shins as much as I used to, so I have not put them to the ultimate test. But, I use them with confidence. My only issue is that when I have bulky gloves on (winter cutting)... the clips are somewhat stiff and unforgiving, and often, I end up taking off my gloves to clip and unclip. That aside, they also feel a bit short (I am relatively short-legged) and they come to my boots but not lower. If I were a normal-sized adult, these would feel short. Order size up if you have the option and like them longer.Hope that helps.

Great Quality.
I use these to protect my clothes when weed eating. These are much sturdier than the Green Jeans chaps I used to use. They are probably overkill for what I need them for, but these will last a lifetime. Very pleased. I'm a 6' tall female, wear a size 18, and the largest size offered fit me perfectly. Plenty long.

Heavy chaps for the price
These are very heavy chaps. Which is a good thing for protection. The waist belt has snaps that you can fold down the belt for a better length fit. The pocket is kind of small if you wanted to put wedges or a scrench in it.

Good material, bad design
Good quality material but not the best design. I bought these for stump grinding and they leave your inner thighs exposed basically covering right over your knee cap and that’s it. So when rocks and chips fly you get pelted in pelted not really protecting much. Now I’m 5’3 125lb these technically should wrap around my legs enough. I’m sure for bigger guys you’ll be left even more exposed. I got grease on mine so i won’t be returning them maybe I’ll just DIY and sow the groin area tighter to pull them in more.
