Birds love it, delicate motor
The media could not be loaded. Purchased in March 2021, easy to assemble. We were very happy with the fountain, but it stopped working, red light dead pump yesterday May 24 2021. I had just ordered a ton of filters😕Update: I ordered another pump here on Amazon and it's back to working well. My birds love it. I clean it once a week and clean the motor as well hoping this will keep it working well.

Me encanta
A mis gatos le ha gustado mucho, beben siempre de ahí, le gusta el agua en movimiento. Le cambio el filtro una ves al mes.

Great design, keeps water clean & flowing
We bought this after our old pet fountain's pump quit working. From the start, this one is better designed to filter the water & always provide clean, fresh water for our cat & dog. The pump has a designated spot in the bottom container, complete with little walls so that it will be properly aligned to draw water through the filter-sponge, and that the outflow fits properly into the spout on top. It has a light inside it (also with a designated place) so we can always see the water level to keep it filled, and it provides a nice night glow for us and for our pets. The water itself flows through the main carbon filter which fits into the bracket that holds up the top tray. So the water that is trickling from the "flower" spout collects in the basin in that top tray, gravity causes it to fall through the carbon filter into the container where it is again filtered by the sponge before entering the pump to be cycled up the spout again. Our old filter used to collect dirt and debris in its basin, and didn't have the benefit of the carbon filter straining all of the water like this one does.We CAN hear this one - but it simply sounds like a babbling brook or some sort of decorative fountain - and we have it set up with the "flower" spout so the water does trickle down, creating that sound. We haven't yet tried it with the spout that just bubbles up; I suspect that would be quieter. I gave it 3 stars for noise level just because it isn't a silent fountain. The sound is calming to me, but I know not everyone likes the sound of water babbling.Overall, after a week of use, we're very happy with this fountain. Our pets like it too; our cat is much less fussy about the water bowl now.

Pump broken after less than 6 months
UPDATE:This company reached out and sent over a new pump, free of charge. Excellent customer service. This fountain is so cute and quiet, I'm glad I can start using it again!Product was great, until the red blinking low water light came on even though the container was full; once the light blinks, the pump shuts off. Did a thorough clean, filled it up with water, unplugged and re-plugged it back in but the flashing light won't turn off and the pump refuses to start. There is no reset button, and seems to be no way to get it started. So now it's garbage. Very wasteful.

I have NEVER seen a cat drink so much water
I was a bit hesitant on purchasing this because I was REALLY worried about whether or not my cat Sam would drink from it, as he's a very majestic, chonky, particular and picky (but very handsome) man. I decided to buy anyways and take the risk since it had multiple different spout options, and lemme tell you- I'm so glad I did. I don't even think I've ever seen him drink water before, maybe once or twice, but it was a huge concern of mine. And we had his water far away from his food, too- I think that he just didn't like it. Like I said, picky guy we're talkin' about here. However, he adores this thing. I have the flower spout on, the one I wasn't certain about, and I've seen him LITERALLY drink from the water fountaining down from the flower. Yes, it was adorable, and yes I almost cried.Anyways, in terms of noise, the flower spout makes the most noise. However, it's honestly alright. It's a nice background, ambient (very quiet tho) waterfall type noise while you're sleeping, and if you're someone who doesn't like background noise for your zoom calls, it's not loud enough to be picked up by a mic unless you're right next to it. To be honest, it's 100% a fair tradeoff to see Sam drinking so much water, especially since cats can get major issues with their health for not drinking and they're super picky about where they drink from.Basically, 10/10, I don't even usually leave reviews, but I am so satisfied and happy with this purchase. It's probably the best life decision I've ever made.

Cat? Meh. Pug? Loves.
I read somewhere that cats prefer moving water so when I decided to get a cat as a companion for my pug I bought this fountain. Cat drinks the pooled water and my pug loves to drink the water from the flower fountain option. It says to change the filter every 2 weeks, which is ridiculous. I'm budget conscious so I found that every 2 months, with a once a month clean, and once a week wipe down is sufficient. I've had the product for 7 months now and this is the first time I've seen the red light. With two pets I fill it every other day, and it has gotten down to where it doesn't flow on occasion and this light has never shown up, even though it's supposed to blink red to tell you the water is low. My water is nowhere near low now or when the red light started. So my guess is, that after only seven months, that the pump no longer works. What a racket. WONDERFUL fountain for your pets.... for seven months, then you have to replace the pump. Is this how it works from now on. Every about 7 months I order a new pump at $14.99? Fish, living beings, don't need a new pump that frequently. Just to be sure I cleaned my fountain, replaced the filter, which was only replaced a month ago, and refilled the fountain. Still a red blinking light. My pets are just as happy with a stagnant bowl of water, so it's frustrating that something only slightly better costs me significantly more. I bought a replacement pump which will be here Nov. 1. We'll see if that makes the red light go away. I will update my review then.
