Beats Using HDMI and a Dongle
The 1 meter cable worked right out of the package between my late 2016 15" Macbook Pro with the 460 graphics upgrade and my Wasabi Mango UHD430 43" monitor at 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 frames per second. I just plugged it in, the Macbook recognized the monitor and the desktop image appeared. Picture was crisp and video looked good. No complaints. I had lots of trouble trying to get HDMI to work using Apple's dongle, but this USB-C to DisplayPort cable just worked without any dongle. I recommend this configuration if your monitor has a DisplayPort input.

Working great for my MacBook Pro 2016 and Dell P2751Q monitor
So far so good. I just got a MacBook Pro 2016 with touch bar and needed this cable to get 4k 60fps on my Dell P2751Q. I have been using it for a few hours and the cable has been working great. 4K content on Youtube shows great. I will update the review if I experience any problems.

Really worked!!!!
My laptop dont have any DP. So i used my USB Type C port of my Acer V Nitro to my Acer X24 144hz 1ms monitor. Definitely working! Thanks startech for this! Now my CSGO gaming is far more better than my 60hz monitor.

Work great with 2016 MacBook Pro
This cable is a great solution for connecting 2016 MacBook Pro to desktop monitors. I have tried different USB C to HDMI adapters, including the apple one, and they did not work so well with my 64:27 ultra wide screen.

Very well made, but no success in using it, yet
I tend to think that I got either a bad cable or there's something wrong with my laptop, given the other good reviews here. I have other StarTech cables that work great, too. That's why I'm giving this three stars instead of two, because this cable hasn't worked for me.When I connect it to my laptop and then to either of two Dell monitors, my laptop gives a notice along the lines of "Improve USB connection. DisplayPort may not work." And...it doesn't. I haven't gotten an image on either monitor. I'd think that if my laptop didn't support video over USB C, it wouldn't give an error like that, and I really doubt that the DisplayPort input on both monitors is bad.Construction quality is very good, like other StarTech cables that I have.For ~$30, I did expect flawless operation, and I didn't get it. Again, it might be my laptop, but I have my doubts. This is my first foray into USB-C video, so I might be messing something up. I had hoped to connect my laptop to my monitors over DisplayPort to free up an HDMI connection, but this cable didn't do the trick for me.

Good quality and works as expected.
Good quality and works as expected. Can't expect more than that. I like the shorter length because my laptop sits right next to my monitor, so no annoying extra lengths of cable to bundle up/trip over.

It does what it is supposed to do very well. It does not disappoint. Good firm connections no flicker or other issues.
