I generally use a wire cutter with wooden ends but I found when I need to cut plates or platters off the bat, a wire is necessary as opposed to plastic. Also the wrapped soft ends as opposed to wood make it easier to keep a hold of, less painful on my fingers to pull under a platter or a plate. I love it.

I started making pottery and this works just as it should cutting the large slabs of clay.

Worked for what I needed it for but near the handles they left bits of the wires sticking out that would poke and stab me whenever I used them.

New to pottery and always see this tool being used In all the videos and now I get why! Makes cutting the clay and removing the finished pot from the machine way easier! Recommend purchase!

Easy to use

With the thin wire, the cutter kinks easily. I can still use it for cutting pots off the wheel, but it now has a permanent crimp in it. I recommend hanging it to store in order to avoid this. Or just get a cutter with slightly thicker wire.

Comfortable on the fingers. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Thank you
