Hard to believe …
It’s pretty amazing to me how long this battery lasts in my Husqvarna electric saw. I cut down a 10-14” diameter bay tree and a second similar size oak tree, limbed them, and cut then into long rounds. When I was finished the battery’s built in meter showed 75% of power remaining. And the power is incredible. It puts every other battery saw I’ve used to absolute shame. I have a similar Husqvarna gas-powered saw that, honestly, I figure I may as well sell because I’ll hardly every use it again … the maintenance, the grumpy pull starting, the need to mix fuel/oil, the exhaust fumes …. Bleh!Oh, yeah, it’s kind of crazy expensive I guess, but even at the price I’m very glad to have it.

holds a charge really well
use it for chain saw. Even after three hours of cutting brush and tree trunks it still had 3 bars of charge

Works for larger Chain Saw. Wish it was cheaper.
This is the correct battery for the chainsaw. There are a few others in this series (BLI-22) but this is the larger battery that came with the chainsaw. The smaller ones work, but don’t give as much battery life. Great for the hedge trimmer or blower, but only about 20 minutes if cutting with the chainsaw. This one is good for about 45 minutes to 1 hour of on-again-off-again cutting. It makes using the chainsaw in remote areas more reasonable - because a single battery dies out before the work is done. Two batteries is about right before you need to sharpen the chain and maybe clean out/reassemble the chainsaw anyway - which is when I’m usually about done physically and mentally. I have another BLI-22 battery, but I’ve never resorted to it…I’m usually exhausted after 2 battery’s worth (2 hours cutting).I just wish these were cheaper. At over $300 a pop, they seem excessive. It’s almost worth just buying a second Husqvarna electric chainsaw…because 75% of the cost is battery, and I’d get a spare chainsaw! Dewalt seems to be able to produce a battery for cheaper, they basically subsidize the battery for you to get their tool. I wish Husqvarna was honest about the REAL cost of this tool combo. You have to spend nearly 200% the cost of the tool to do a day’s work. But I like the chainsaw and the battery is actually great- built well, sturdy, and has battery management system built in. Maybe that’s what the $$$ is for.Overall, works great. Just wish it was cheaper. With all the battery tech out there, this feels like it should be $150 max.

Manufacture Date
My battery arrived and has a 2020 date on it. That obviously means it is at least 15 months old. Will this decrease its life? Time will tell, but it is a concern.

Buy 800CFM blower with this battery for less
Just buy their 800CFM blower with Bli30 Battery and charger. You get all that for less than this 1 BLi30 Battery.
