As its spring I decided to turn my down 2 part winter duvet into a summer one (by detaching 1 of the quilts). I'd had it many years and it's always been protected by a dust mite protective cover. Well as soon as I unzipped the cover my room looked like foxes had attacked a hen farm! Time for a new duvet!Described as a down equivalent I chose this duvet hoping for the same warmth but no worries of feathers! Great duvet, looked good quality, but extremely Light and even at 10.5 tog for all seasons I felt I'd have been way to cold due to being a cold sleeper. I'd have felt I was sleeping in a sheet without a duvet inside so sadly it went back, and I got a weightier 13.5tog down duvet again which I love.For those that like lightweight duvets this is a good quality one that would please most people, it just wasn't for me, as I need my duvet to hug me to sleep even in the hottest of nights!

I took ages to choose my new duvet and thankfully this one does not disappoint in any way.At first I thought it was going to be too heavy for me as I cannot bear weight on my legs and it felt heavy when I first picked it up, but I did as instructed and left it out of the packaging for a couple of days to breathe and then used it. It is not hugely fluffy on the bed and I use it with a cover as washing it regularly would not be cost effective re drying it but it is not at all heavy when I am under it. Quite how this works I haven't a clue, but it does. I am so cosy all night and because it is not overly bulky is actually a benefit as I use a CPAP machine and a bulky one would be in the way of the tube when I snuggle down during winter.I hate lumpy duvets but this one does not go lumpy. the stitching prevents lumps from forming and with just a quick shake each morning it is perfect. It is by far the best duvet I have had in years and I will be hanging on to this one. Definitely would recommend and it is worth the money for a great nights sleep.

Light weight

When I read the reviews for this duvet I hadn’t realised I’d read the ones for the Anti-allergen and the down filled. My review is for the anti-allergen.Firstly it came out of the packaging like a pancake. 12hrs later it was still very thin. A full 24hrs and it had fluffed up but was still thin. I didn’t think it would be any good and that it would be going back.I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how warm it is for the thickness or lack of it. It is warmer than my old duvet which was twice the thickness.If you are looking for a thick and fluffy duvet this is not it. If you are looking for a thin, warm and very well made duvet then this is for you. The material is excellent quality and the stitching is very good too.I probably wouldn’t buy this one again as I prefer the duvet a bit thicker but I don’t regret the purchase.

It’s the only duvet staying in the cover very neat. Even expensive duvets always move around in the cover which gives extra work in the morning to make it neat but this duvet is the only one I’ve ever had which doesn’t need to do extra work every morning. I am so happy with this duvet. Nice quality and looks luxurious. A bit pricy but it worth to pay.

I have just unwrapped it so can't comment on warmth or comfort but I can say it is very very thin. Not fluffy at all. Thinner and lighter than a 4.5 tog I have. I will keep it as can use it for guests but I feel let down.

This is quite a thin duvet and there is no Tog rating on the label. I purchased the 7.5 tog.This was to replace a duvet of the same tog rating which was far thicker and heavier.We haven’t experienced any really cold weather yet but so far the duvet feels warm and not heavy.If it turns out not to be warm enough, I will keep this for spring/summer and buy a higher tog rating.

Great quilt, it’s lightweight, warm and soft and actually stays in place inside the quilt cover. I will get another one of these if I need to replace at any stage.
