Q: Has anyone noticed any tracking issues? it appears ear buckles cover places that vrcover made a point of not covering with their halo protectors.

I know Kiwi says otherwise, but there is certainly interference with some of the experiences. Notably in Eleven Table Tennis. These would be fantastic if the design properly took all sensors into account. Facebook engineering placed sensors on the controllers for a reason and blocking any of them will result in some degree of interference with tracking. In the case of these grips, each grip blocks at least 2 sensors on each controller by the trigger. Your mileage may vary but feel free to look into this issue with these grips on Google and even some of the 1 star reviews on here. Despite their fatal flaw, these are otherwise great. I hope Kiwi addresses this issue in any new iterations of these grips.

Q: Do I have to use the battery door cover? I have rechargeable batteries with a special cover which allows me to charge the batteries already.

Yes, the covers on the grips are built into the grips as one solid piece. To place the controllers on a charging station may not work (will not, in my opinion). Too tight of a fit.

Q: Let's try this again: are the ear buckles (so named by the mfr in the desc) stretchy/flexible enough to fit around halo protectors like vrcover's?

Yes, but the ear buckles are also blocking 2 sensors on each controller. Big flaw sadly!

Q: What charging accessory to use with these?

uses battery so i use rechargeable battery that i take out and put back in with the little flaps for access to batteries don’t think it would work with the charging stations because grips wouldn’t allow good metal to metal connection and the battery housings cover wouldn’t work with the grip battery housing covers
