The problem is, I bought this package based on the primary description picture which shows the coin and player select buttons being slightly smaller then the other buttons. I don't think it's then unreasonable for anyone to assume that those buttons are 24mm standard and the other buttons would be 30mm standard size. Unfortunately, I received the package with all buttons being 30mm, which messed me up because I bought a bare fight stick box with 24mm holes at the top.

I don't know much about arcade boxes but thought it would be fun to build one over the holidays. I was a bit concerned about the quality but for only about C$50 and with decent reviews, this wasn't a huge risk.Best thing is, the package includes everything - joysticks, buttons, control boards and connector cables. Plugged everything together and it just worked immediately the first time - all the buttons lit up, joysticks and buttons worked, all good. When we built the actual cabinet, my kid mounted the sticks and buttons and wired them to the control boards. Several play sessions later, everything still works properly. And EG-Starts responded quickly to a question I asked. So this gets 5 stars, especially for the money.A few things to know (some of which are in other reviews):- The silver trim around the buttons is plastic, not metal- The joysticks do have a pronounced click - louder than I expected but not a huge problem in an arcade machine.- One button was defective (doesn't spring back) - I didn't do anything because I have more buttons than I need- You can switch the joysticks from 4-way to 8-way easily but you have to remove and rotate a plate on the bottom- The balls on the joysticks do come loose with play - minor inconvenience for me - I haven't tried using tools to tighten them or Loctite- If you're debating lit buttons vs. non-lit buttons, get the lit ones - I almost got non-lit but they look really good lit

Vous ne pouvez pas avoir plus plastique que cela. Les boutons ne fonctionnerons pas éternellement. Les led on des faux contact et le Joystick est raide et fais des clicclic en le bougeant. Pas fluide comme mouvement. Mais pour le prix et un premier projet cela n'est pas un très gros investissement. Testé avec RetroPie et tout fonctione comme mentionné.Il aurait été bon d'avoir 2 boutons en plus pour le start et select.Leur site web slagcoin point com est suspendu, donc impossible de télécharger le template pour les cut-out

Super easy to install! Great quality of the joystick. Buttons are all platic but are adequate quality. They are sometimes stuck so you have to pop open the lid and replace the spring. Easy fix.

You get what you pay for. The joysticks are basic, and the buttons can stick a bit. The buttons seem to get a bit better with use. Good basic set to pair with a raspberry pie for arcade emulation. I will likely upgrade to better components over time, but this was a nice staring point.
