Worked right away after install. My 55" TCL Roku stopped showing information but still lit up. This was the issue. Took just minutes to change out and it was very easy. There are four versions of this board so be sure to match up the numbers before ordering.

My TCL 55P607 stopped working after 7 years without issues. I could hear sound, and there was a backlight, but the screen was blank. I thought that it had come to the end of its life. Then I did a little online research and learned that many people had experienced the same, or similar issues. It turns out that inside the TV there a number of boards that serve different functions. They can die at any time but they can also be replaced easily if you can find a functional replacement. Although there are number of websites where I saw what seemed like the right T-Con board for my TV, I was pleasantly surprised to see this one on Amazon within Prime shipping (and easy returns if it did not work). For $16 it seemed well worth the risk. I opened up my TV with a screw driver and replaced the board with the aid of some of the many YouTube videos that show you how to do this. Lo and behold, my TV was back to life, working as well as it had done before! If you are in the same situation, I'd certainly recommend giving this product a try. But be sure to check the part number to make sure that it matches the T-Con board in your particular TV model. Here the listing says that this is for the TCL 55S405TBCA but it worked for my TCL 55P607. It might work for yours too! Good luck!

Have a TCL Roku TV 55" that the sound worked and the picture went out. All troubleshooting said this board is the culprit. Took me about 20 minutes and about 15 screws and it cured the problem. Months later and no issues.

Best money spent. Installation was quick and easy. Problem solved: TV had black or grey screen of death where back light was working but the home screen did not appear. Had to unplug and reset to fix grey screen of death often. This fixed it. Saved me hundreds from buying a new TV. check YouTube for installation.

Screen was black but could hear sound. Tried unplugging, resetting, etc.Replaced the T-con board with this one which is exactly the same. Screen looks good as new. Took about 20-30 minutes due to all the screws to get back cover off.

MY TLC 55 inch Roku 55S403 TV stopped working. Sound was good but it had no picture ( completely black screen). After a week of troubleshooting and googling, I boiled it down to the T-con card because BACKLIT LEDs were turning on (I could see them turning on through the tiny holes on the chasis when I opened the back cover); Power board was supplying normal power readings (it powered the TV fine) and because I can hear sound, I discarted being the main board. This $15 fix amazed me bacause this TV was going in the Trash. And by the way, this was the best price for the part anywhere on the internet. This goes to show that TV's are easier to Fix now-a-days only if you are curious, have the time, and have a bit of technical knowledge.
