An indispensable tool in my cinematography kit!
I've been a loyal user of Kimberly-Clark's Kimtech Science KimWipes Delicate Task Wipers for years, and I can confidently say they're an indispensable tool in my cinematography kit! As a cinematographer, I need to ensure my cine lenses are spotless and smudge-free to capture the highest-quality images. These KimWipes have been my go-to for cleaning delicate surfaces, and they've never let me down. The 1-ply sheets are gentle and effective, making them perfect for wiping down lenses, filters, and other sensitive equipment. They're also lint-free, which is a must for anyone working with high-end optics. I've tried other lens cleaning tissues in the past, but none have come close to the quality and reliability of KimWipes. They're a staple in my kit, and I always make sure to have a pack on hand. If you're a cinematographer, photographer, or anyone who works with delicate equipment, I highly recommend giving KimWipes a try!

A great product for cleaning eye glasses
I discovered these at the office of my optometrist. I figured if she used them on brand new glasses I’d give them a try. These are inexpensive and I use them daily and nightly to clean my eyeglasses. They are not tissue although they look like tissue. Apparently, they have no paper fiber in them to scratch your lenses so they are safe to use on your glasses, even your new ones. This is my second box and I prefer these over microfiber cloth which needs to be washed frequently to avoid smudges. I just spray cleaner, wipe and wipe again or wash with water and wipe and wipe again, then toss into the trash. I recommend these highly for a smudge free view!

Basically, a good product.
1. The box was a bit crushed, so I can't give it as a gift as I wanted.2. The size of sheets is a little (and I mean very little) different from what was displayed on the amazon site. The sheet size is actually 4.4 x 8.2 inches vs. the displayed size of 4.4 x 8.4 inches. Again, not a significant difference; but amazon may want to make the change on its site.

The Standard for Photographic Lens Element Cleaning
I work as a freelance photographer and Director of Photography. When in this field, you will find cleaning various delicate glass elements to be an essential part of the job. For this, you may find yourself deciding between KimTechs or just plain old Microfiber cloth.Let me be clear, KimTech's are not necessarily a replacement for a microfiber cloth. A good clean microfiber is invaluable in the field for the cleaning of front lens elements, filters, and more KimTech wipes can be used for these same tasks, but their real purpose is found in situations where a microfiber may not be safe to use. When a Microfiber will do:General Photographic lenses and most newer cinema lenses have fairly resilient and chemically coated front elements to keep them protected from general dirt, dust, and smudges. These elements are sensitive but generally can take a wipe down from a microfiber cloth that may not be 100% sterile. A microfiber cloth is usually sturdy and will allow you to take off dirt/dust that is caked on.Where a KimTech becomes a necessity:When dealing with the rear element of a lens or both front and rear elements of vintage stills/cinema lenses that may be more sensitive to oils, chemicals, scratches, it is important to make sure the cleaning surface you are using has no residual oils or impurities that you then transfer to these sensitive elements. A KimTech taken wipe can guarantee this.Strength:Despite their thinness, these woven wipes will stay together quite well. If attempting to remove difficult impurities, using multiple wipes or a lens safe solution may help.Last remarks:Having both a box of KimTech's and a microfiber is important. Many will get by with just a microfiber, but having both in your kit makes you a valuable asset. This particular 280 count box will last most users a while and is a decent value for the cost.

Great lens cleaning wipe
KimWipes are great for gently cleaning my camera lens. They soak up the lens cleaning solution well and can be softly used on the lens. They will scratch the surface if used with pressure. KimWipes are lint-free and won't leave any fibers behind. These tissue-paper style packs are great because I can use tweezers to pull out the next wipe, keeping my oils off of it. I got a single box and think that I will never go through them all. There are a lot of wipes in each box. The value for your money is great. If you have optical equipment to clean or maintain, KimWipes are an excellent and affordable product that will meet your needs.

I really like these for prescription glasses - Even Dry
My glasses are always dirty and when I use the microfiber cloth to clean them, half the time it just smears and smudges, to the point of desperation. I finally found these and was hesitant after reading some reviews about scratching, but that has not been my experience. I do not use the spray solution most of the time, and will gently use one of these wipes and my glasses are cleaner than they've ever been. I will never go back to that microfiber cloth again now that I found these.

Work Great. Same tissue used for my new glasses at my eye care office.
Work great, as I expected. Kimtech tissues were the ones used when I received my new glasses at my optometrist office. Now Kimtech issues are the ones that I use at home.
