I installed one of these so that I could power my Qi car charger and tuck the cables away out of sight. Was able to do that no problem, but the charger wouldn't power up. Decided that I must have gotten a bad one so ordered another so that I could leave the cable in place and just replace the transformer, then return the bad one. New one wouldn't power up the charger either, so I popped the covers off so that I could probe with a voltmeter. Both of them were receiving 12VDC at the input side of the circuit board, neither of them had any output voltage.Going with another unit that hopefully works better, sucks that I've got to pull my dash back apart to run new cable for it.

Very slow charging when using with Samsung Galaxy tab and phone. It's 5v supposedly up to 3 amps yet charges the slowest put of any charger I have.
