Bought these to cut back on disposable eye protection to support supply efforts, and because reused disposable eye pro never seemed as clear or fit as snug after a few uses and cleanings. These have nice comfort and fit, good clarity, and are very light weight. They wrap well and feel secure but at the same time are barely noticeable for long cases due to light weight and minimal frame. Will probably put on strap anyway just in case. No chromic aberration and very clear lens. Haven’t tested scratch resistant feature extensively but no problems wiping down so far. Anti fog seems reasonably good to decrease mask related fog, but no extreme weather in OR. While not truly disposable, would not feel bad losing due to great price. I know several colleagues who have been using Nike, Oakley, or similar eye pro for years. I’m sure they are great too but couldn’t justify the price after finding these. They seem to be a better “honest value for an honest dollar” than the traditional sports-oriented options. The more low-key design and Carhartt name brand attracted a few complements from those who know. I like them, will probably buy a couple more pairs to keep handy. Does Carhartt make a scrub cap?
