Battery-Biz Inc. 23A 12 Volt Alkaline Battery

I bought this battery for my garage door opener. The ones in the store were outrageously expensive, for what I was using it for, I felt they weren't worth it. So I decided to find a REALLY cheap battery and hope it lasted. Luckily this battery accomplished both of my goals...cheap and effective, and it was the same brand that originally came with the remote that I had for years before.I've been using my opener daily for a few months now and no issues have come up and don't expect any for a long time.

I use this battery in my old school remote car alarm/starter. It worked perfectly and has a 1 block range easy. When the last battery was dying out, I had to be right next to the car and it was hit or miss. I'll update this post on the battery life once I've used it longer than a week.

it worked barely for two weeks and now no light on the garage opener and the garage does not open....when I got it, I noticed the light on the remote was weak and I have to be close to the garage door so it open,,,now the battery life is totally gone....short life!! I reaflly want to give it a negative rating

I needed a battery to replace my garage external keypad remote. It was a specialized battery and only stores like Battery Plus carries it but for about 2 1/2 times the rate that Amazon charges. It arrived quickly, performs great, and came sealed in a package. I'm very happy.

the batteries worked but did not really fulfill the purpose they were needed for. Apparently something is wrong with the other end of the needed resource. They were needed for our car door locking mechanism.However many thanks for your most prompt attention.Nancye Evans.

I bought this batter to replace one in my remote control. I couldn't tell the quality of the batter because when I put it in the controller didn't work. I cannot blame the battery because the controller might be broken, but either way its a lot more expensive then a AA

Battery for a remote controlled outlet bought online several years ago.Thought I wouldn't find it, but thanks to Battery Biz, not only did I findit. They had it for a low price. Thanks also to Amazon.com for having them ontheir site, making that much easier to find.

Contrary to the review below, I've had one of these in my garage remote for over five years. It's just died after a week of -25 tempts (I live in Minnesota) but it's served pretty well prior to that. I'll probably replace it with a name-brand battery this time to see if there's a difference, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another GP if that was all I could find locally.
