8hrs in and these things WORK!!!!
Currently dealing with a moderate Gnat infestation in my house which seems to happen to varying degrees right around this time every year and in the past I would just turn to the White Vinegar with a few drops of Dawn dish soap method which always had somewhat lackluster results,. This year, and at the moment, I don't have any Vinegar in the house and didn't feel like going out and buying some because I typically have no other use for it so instead, I found myself looking online for a different and quicker alternative. After looking over a handful of search results here I came across these little Apple traps and decided to give them a try based on others who reviewed them positively. Needless to say I am SO GLAD that I did! They arrived in the morning and only took a couple minutes to open them up, fill them to the halfway point with the provided "trap liquid" and then strategically placed them in my kitchen and living room (I bought 6 total) before heading off to work for the day. I returned home this afternoon and already all of them have a large amount of the dead little buggies floating in them! I like how small and discreet the traps are and the dual clear plastic windows on the sides are great at providing a way to see inside the traps without having to manipulate them. I DEF 5* recommend these things to anyone that's dealing with these little Summer time annoyances as well!

Took Care of My Infestation
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These work fantastic!! i don't see a fruit fly in sight. There were a lot more gnats in the trap than I expected. I knew there were a lot but oh man am I glad I got these. Key is putting them near what is attracting the bug ie, fruit basket, garbage can, etc. My apartment lacks outlets so the plug in’s didn't work as well for me as these did since I was able to set them in the places they were attracted to. Also the attractive apple is a nice touch. I dont see Terro refill bottles forPurchase though

Works Well, But Liquid Doesn’t Last Long
These fruit fly traps work great — they attract and catch flies quickly, and setup is super easy. The only downside is that the liquid inside evaporates pretty fast, especially if you’re using them over a longer period. You’ll definitely need to stock up or replace them regularly if you’re dealing with fruit flies for more than a few weeks. Still, a very effective solution for indoor use!

Works amazingly best product I've found yet for getting rid of fruit flies!!!
Works great ive been using this product for a few years and recently recommended to a friend and it got all the flies within the week. The way its designed even if it falls nothing comes out unless it lands upside down, but even then not much comes out. I love the viewing window I don't have to open it and take a chance of dead bug coming out on me just to see if it's full. Def will be buying more when its time to refil!!

What a tease!
EDIT: It turns out there are a lot of fruit flies in my house!!! It's true that there are always lots crawlinbg over the top of the trap, but there are also a lot of tiny bodies floating in the lure. So my first review was mistaken - the trap is killing them. ORIGINAL: The fruit flies love this scent! They cluster around the trap, lovingly clinging to it as they jostle for better position on the top. What they don't do is to crawl inside and die. So ... at least I know where they are!

Little Miracle Traps
In less than 24 hours these little traps helped my buggy problem that was seriously driving me bonkers. I had the led traps that plug in an outlet but they were not helping a lot. I bought these on a whim and put two in my kitchen, one in my living room, and one in my bathroom. I had those big gross drain gnats and fruit flies. I keep my house really clean too. I was running bleach down the drains, cleaning the bathroom everyday and the kitchen counters, sinks and floors and everything. I don’t buy bananas or leave any fruit out. I have no idea why we have this problem here. But like I said I almost immediately noticed the problem improving and this morning checked the little traps and they are full of the fruit flies and the disgusting drain gnats. I’m so happy and pleased!

didn't work as well as I hoped
Didn't work as well as I hoped. The product is well constructed, and the apple shape blends really well in a house interior. I think the idea is good, but it is not effective. We had lots of gnats fly and we were trying different products, we placed these little apples around filled with vinegar and they did attract the flies, but only a few of them called inside, I usually saw them standing on top then flying away. The ratio of flies it attracts vs the amount of flies it traps is not good at all. At the end, we put these sticky pads on top (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MZN1K2Y?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1), and then it worked well. The smell attracted the fly, but the sticky pad took care of them.

Lifesaver for Fruit Fly Infestations
These TERRO fruit fly traps really work — and fast! I had a fruit fly problem that came out of nowhere, and within a day of setting these up near my fruit bowl and compost bin, they were catching flies like crazy. It’s honestly kind of shocking (in a satisfying way) how many end up in there so quickly. The design is discreet and cute — shaped like little apples — so they don’t look gross sitting out on your counter. Setup is as easy as it gets: just pull the tab and place it where you’ve seen activity. No mess, no mixing, and no strong odors. Each trap lasts a couple of weeks, and they’re great for keeping things under control without having to constantly swat or chase flies around. If you deal with fruit flies regularly (especially in warmer months), these are 100% worth keeping on hand.
