Does Not work - conclusion after 2 days of testing
Engineering layout appears sound - can support laptop. However, seems not to carry any current at all. Tested all 5 ports, incl HDMI, USB-A, USB-C PD. Plugs into USB-C on laptop ...just. Poor design of USDB-C male plug holder - should point outwards, not horizontal as this collides with other plug holders, eg, HDMI and power inwards. Soft- and hard-reboots ineffective. Win 10 system does not recognise device, which it should since the laptop is its power supply. Contacted manufacturer in Hong Kong on two different e-mail addresses. No response to date. Will be RETURNING item.
