Crickets will escape
The container is easy to clean as well as load with new crickets. The only issue I really have with them is the air holes along the sides are too big and 8 think the crickets are getting out. I don't actually witness them escaping. But ever since I switched to these I have been finding at least 2 crickets a day roaming around my house lol. I think I might tape the holes and then make my own puncture holes in the tape.

Nice containers
I bought these to keep feeder insects in and overall they work great for that purpose. I bought metal mesh to cover the holes to prevent any escapes. The lid isn't the best. It's supposed to open from both sides individually but it doesn't do it very well. It's more convenient to just take the whole lid off.I like these so much more than other critter keepers.

bought two one came cracked
I would return but I had already set the non cracked one up. The other is cracked along the bottom. I bought to keep crickets in, as others have stated the holes are large enough for them to get out so I cut plastic screen and taped it along the holes so none could escape. If both were usable I would give 5 stars.

The housing doesnt fit like in the photo
I bought this thinking it would be nice for my cornsnake but the housing doesnt give it space for a dish

Item received is not item pictured
The "hide" is significantly larger than the one in the picture, and only fits long-ways in the container. This leaves VERY little space for anything to get around, basically making this an overpriced plastic tub with holes punched in it. Quite disappointing.
