I ordered this urn as a backup for the urn of choice we wanted in case it didn’t come in in time from overseas. Amazon was right on target with this one. It came right away and was nice with the size, the design including the silver meal accent design on the urn. I would have kept this and been happy to use it but the original one I ordered came on time and was much more reflective of my mother in its simpler design.It is a very nice stately option though, for someone’s ashes and would be pretty both to display or to entomb as a final resting place for your loved one. The threads to screw the lid on are nice a tight and should provide a secure fit. The pearl swirls design is very nice. The large size will fit a normal adult’s ashes. It is a nice heavy product that would be a durable, secure product.

This is a heavy and very well made urn. It is absolutely beautiful. Very classy. Highly recommend.

We purchased this urn for my Mother’s burial a couple weeks last week.The urn is beautiful, at first I was thinking there would be more definitive markings for the white swirls, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it the way it is. This way it will last much longer. The metal is heavy and very durable. Quality product.The top screws on for a tight fit and the opening was large enough for us to insert the plastic bag top to pour in the ashes. All things to consider when making the transfer.

This was a very important purchase for me. My father passed away unexpectedly and I have been in search of something that is perfect and represented him. Nothing flashy, simple yet beautiful because he was a very wonderful person inside and out. The shipping was very fast, packaged nicely so it wouldn't get damaged and was absolutely gorgeous! Looks exactly like the photo. Not one ounce of it was different and was maybe even better than the photo! Extremely happy with it and the mother of pearls holds a special place in my heart as that is what we collected while living by the beach. I recommend this for anyone looking for something special for a loved one!!!

The picture looked like dragon scales but in person it just looks swirly. The silver was OK - there were several noticeable imperfections. I don't think I would buy this again but... its not awful for the price.

This urn was an excellent purchase. I actually bought it for my brother and God rest his soul; this urn held him well. The urn was well-made and had a very beautiful pattern in a opal/pearl color. (Which wasn’t exactly the color I had originally thought of for him, but I went out on a whim and bought it. It arrived in 2 days. I paid $100 but I looked around and think you could find it cheaper, but this one came in 2 days free shipping and it also came with this very nice velvet bag to put the urn inside for safe travels. Also, the top screws shut! I was very satisfied with my purchase. I really think this will save you money rather than having to be forced to purchase the same/similar urn at the funeral home for $400-500.
