Nicely made but a bit challenging to clean
I wanted to be able to cut even squares. This will do that, but be careful cleaning as it can be a bit sharp.

Great Quality
This item is made with care and is great quality. I had one previously and this one is much better. This items design exceeds it's competition. They have 2 screws built into it, so you can lock the blades in place before you begin.

Blade spacing isn't the best
I bought this intending to make a basket weave pie crust with even width strips of dough. However, I found that when you try to make wider strips by stretching the tool wider, the blades don't automatically end up with the same width between them as you would expect. I googled cute woven pies and found that many had a variety of widths and just opted to purposely cut various widths instead of trying to make them even. It all worked out, but if your goal is to make perfectly even strips, don't count on this item to do that unless you're willing to take extra time to measure and adjust each blade yourself before locking it in place. Had I known, I would have just skipped the purchase and cut various widths on my own. Sure, they were cut a bit more quickly by cutting 6 strips at once, but my original goal wasn't speed but even spacing which this item fails to deliver without extra effort on the user's part.

A little hard to evenly space blades
As title says the baldes don’t actually separate totally evenly. But for my use (dog treats) that doesn’t matter at all. A little awkward to hold/push/pull. But way better than trying to use my wobbly pizza cutter. You could probably cut very low brownies, but not the cake kind. Washed off easily.

Good Buy
It's nice being able to cut several strips at a time. Be sure to spray some non stick spray on it so your dough doesn't stick to it and roll up between the wheels.

A Challenge to Use
Not steady. It has proven a challenge to use. Need a second person to hold the baked goods. I live alone. The cat seems to refuse to help hold things steady lol.

Not very sturdy
I was a professional pastry chef for 30 years, and I needed this apparatus for many of my home bakings. That said, and comparing to what I use in the day, this unit is poorly designed. To put it simple, it wiggles all over the darn place. I hammered the rivets tighter on my bench vice which made it a little more sturdy however, the handles are a joke and not designed for longevity.
