I was concerned on the low price on the quality of these tuners. However they are excellent quality and feel much more expensive than they are. They have replaced my squire standard tuners and have made changing strings so much better. Would definitely recommend these to friends. Look great, easy to fit, just needed new holes for them on my squire strat.

I have 2 Fender Strats, both with Fender Locking Tuners installed - and the main reason I got these was just to add the quick/easy string changing option to my Fender Based "Sultans of Swing" Schecter Dream Machine style Strat - I was able to swap them over very quickly as they plop straight into MIM neck - they are almost identical in size and shape to Fenders own Tuners - action wise - they were a little rough and slack at first, so I gave them a few dozen turns each, before re-strining it. I was lucky that I could restring it using the recently changed "already bedded in" strings, so after several adjustments i was able to get1.5hrs of play, without needing to retune ! - as such - tuning stability is fine, just as good as the Fender Tuners, and after tightening the screw on the side, the small amount of backlash that was present, is now all but gone - they are a little tighter than the Fender ones, but for the price - If I were to upgrade one of my telecasters or other strats - I would be happily buy another set, or 2 !

I haven't actually fitted these yet, I wanted to check the tuners first as so many say they get broken strings. Not sure how well the photo shows it but there are burrs around the string holes, they're jagged and can be felt by running your finger across them, I guess at this price point that's something that gets 'overlooked'. I'll update once they're fitted but firstly I'd recommend filing the string hole edges before using (somehow!).Update: After filing all the holes, with the pointy bit in my rotary tool, and fitting them the tuners seem very good, the mechanisms are all smooth and they lock the strings so I'll be buying more for other guitars.

This is the second set of locking tuners and I have only good things to say about this company, I have also purchased some other hardware, and I must say, the quality of their products is second to none.I don't understand how other companies charge through the roof for basically the same product. Buy these, you won't be disappointed.

Work well. No gear slippage at all and locking mechanism works well. They look good too. They are open gears but are well lubricated/greased. I will look to add more grease to the gears in the future as part of servicing to ensure longevity. A third of the price of some of the big names but i cant fault them so far. I used them on a partscaster and upgraded from standard tuners. I do notice the increased tuning stability when bending strings since replacing the standard ones. Would recommend.
