Long-term review
For the price, this is a fantastic tap. I previously had a Franke tap which began to lose its coating after just a few months, and that tap was at least double the cost of this one.After more than a year of use, this tap is still functioning great. The material and build quality are solid. Perhaps a tiny bit of rust showing around the nozzle, but at less than £30 I'm not too fussed. Lasted longer than a designer tap!

Well for the low price I fitted it in less than ten minutes looks & feels sturdy no leeks as yet, bought a groher for 4 times as much but needed a plumber so I sent it back & got this so far so good.

Great tap but unsuitable in a bungalow as low pressure
This is an excellent sturdy tap. It looks good & matches our black granite sink beautifully. We paid a plumber to fit it yesterday, but the fittings were completely different which took time & more parts. We now discover that because we live in a bungalow, with the hot water tank on the same floor, that this tap is unsuitable. The main reason because it is a monoblock handle, meaning it is sharing cold water from the mains & hot water from the tank. Mixed together the higher pressure cold water takes over any attempt at mixing. Worst of all the hot tap dribbles out when set to maximum hot. I know I could probably return it, but I would have to pay the plumber again & pay for another tap first before I could. If you have high pressure hot water this would be fine & great value for money, but I do think more information should have been provided by the seller. I will make do for now but it will drive us crazy eventually. Although more expensive I think we should have paid for a plumber to visit & advise on tap purchase first. There are hundreds for sale on Amazon & more information is needed. I would have liked to message the seller before leaving feedback as they sell a similar tap with separate handles (which I am told would make a difference), but cannot see any way on Amazon to do this.
