Product is well built and appears sturdier than other adapters I've purchased where i have seen the housing on poorer made products even slide off.Currently I have two pre-ran hard-wired and ziptied usb cables that end in mini type b male, (which i need for another application) but these adapters allow me to connect to those hard to remove usb cables and repurpose them as usb female type A for many other uses such as quick flash drive connection points, ereader hookup, and even charging points for common e-devices needing recharge, etc.Great product, really nifty adapters to have in your inventory if you have a lot of usb devices and you're looking to increase compatibility for your overall device usage model.

My dash cam came with a micro USB connection while the OBD2 Port to Dash CAM connector had a mini USB port. This part married the 2 together without any problems. I hid the wires under the dash and taped off the connection for extra sturdiness. Been over a month now and its working well. I am sure it will continue to service for a long time.

Great price nice to have in tool box

This little adapter allowed me to avoid having to buy a USB powered hub. It allowed me to simply plug in a power/data type A USB into the end of a male mini USB which gave me the power boost that I needed to adequately run an audio interface for my computer from a leftover power/data cable that came with a USB DVD burner that I have. What a problem solver!
